Does anyone have a detailed diagram of the inside of the guitar?

Because I'm trying to figure something out, but I don't know what some of the chips do. I'm looking at a specific chip, and I'm wondering what it does.

Well, only HMX has the schematic and layout artwork, and I don't think they're going to give that out ;)

If you post a picture of the chip, someone might be able to help you identify it.

I figured out what it was in the end, just the microphone chip.

I just figured someone out there would have taken the guitar apart and labeled it - I've found plenty of pictures labeling most of the pieces, but not the one I need.

A chip broke in the guitar, and I was trying to figure out what the piece was... I figured it out when I figured out the location and then noticed the little grove in for the headset cord.

There is no way to get inside. The guitar hasn't been publicly released yet. The best you can do for now is make a prediction.

The Rock Band guitar hasn't been publicly released yet?... :confused: What have I been playing on?

OP was asking about the current model, and the mic he referred to was the headset jack. I think...
