Solo Tour?

We all pretty much now are sure that solo tour is like GH, right? While looking through the achievements I noticed this:
Breakthrough Act
10g
Unlock a Big Club in Solo Tour on Easy, Medium, Hard or Expert
Hot Artist
10g
Unlock a Theater in Solo Tour on Easy, Medium, Hard or Expert
Top Artist
10g
Unlock an Arena in Solo Tour on Medium, Hard or Expert.
Now if solo mode is pretty much just like a setlist with venues tier by tier how come you get gamerscore points for just unlocking the next tier. So now my opinion is mixed and I am rather confused. Some other side questions:
Is endless setlist single player mode?
Is it a band thing?
Why no QR in Rock Band?

Well those would suggest that you at least have a choice of what venue to play at in a given tier, where the size of the venue you can choose depends on the difficulty of the tier you are on.

It's probably just a progress-based Achievement, sorta like how you get one for completing each level of Halo 3.

but it says unlock "A big club", "A Theatre", "An Arena" implying that you have a choice. Not sure what that would mean, will reserve judgment since what I want and what it most likely means are two different things :D

They had almost the exact same acheivements in GH2.

Unlock Rat Cellar - 10g
Unlock Blackout Bar - 10g
Unlock RedOctane Club - 10g

Etc. etc. Why are you so confused about acheivements for progressing through the single player game? Lots of games have that.

I'm pretty sure Endlist Setlist is band only.

Even if you chose your town or venue it can still be progession based.

Harmonix, 1Up, and countless others have said Solo Tour is just GH styled progression. Let it go.

It's still nice to know there is some level of customizability, so to speak. Even if it's basically just like GH, it still would be cool to be able to customize a character/band or whatever. I don't think we have a definite answer on that kind of stuff yet.

Agreed it'd be nice.

My guess is you pick your city, unlock the three venues, rinse, repeat.
