Preordered from local GameStop at the end of Sept, just paid it off in full the other day - I got a ton off the price with the Edge card plus the extra 30% on trade in - I took in my second Xplorer, GHII and Far Cry and ended up getting $100 off the game with all the bonuses. Whoo!

Preordered my copy at Gamestop on August 26th. I am going to pay it off tomorrow while I pick up COD4. BTW, I am paying it off by trading in GH3 and the guitar since gamestop has the extra 30% trade in credit towards Rock Band and I also have an Edge card which adds 10% more. I will end up getting $84 for GH2 and GH3 with guitar. Also, I was really disappointed in GH3 and the song list, not to mention the fact that I was a drummer in school and I can't wait to play drums in Rock Band. Rock Band's songlist is ten times better and with all of the DLC coming it is going to blow the doors off of GH3! FYI, I am going to ask Gamestop while I am there how it is looking for the preorders and if they are going to get enough in to cover everyone, If not, I want to find out how they will determine who will get theirs on Nov. 20th. I will post any info I find out later tomorrow evening or Tuesday at the latest. Rock On!:cool:

Pre-order for the 360 version was finished being paid off at Gamestop once they released the 30% trade-in credit towards RB offer.

I was considering pre-ordering from Best Buy, but they were clueless about RB for months, and I've built up a good rapport with one of the guys at my semi-local Gamestop; who as I've found out from chatting with him, is quite hyped about it as well. :)

I accidently paid the whole thing off solely from trade-ins with the 30% bonus. My friend and I traded in a bunch of gamecube games I haven't played in years, two SGs, GH1/2/80's and ended up with more than enough credit. I was expecting less than $100 for it all, but was gladly mistaken.

Originally pre-ordered mine back in August or so. Traded in Madden 08 for $33 toward it, Super Paper Mario for $26 toward it. Been paying $20 or so every time I drop by GameStop. Nearly paid off.

I was also REALLY disappointed when I saw it at Best Buy. Not because of the game though. There were these 2 people that were on it (I'm guessing, most likely correct) all day and were going to stay on it the rest of the day (talking about it). I left Best Buy completely pissed off.

does anybody think there's any chance that i'll be denied my bundle if I go to pick up my game later on in the day on the 20th? I don't want to waltz in there and have them tell me that they're all out of bundles. Or does a pre-order ensure that you'll get a copy no matter what?

Yes, in fact I think it is quite likely that some Gamestops have oversold their preorders. I intend to be there when the store opens, and I'm lining up a backup plan.
