The Rush Instrumental Pack!!

how about putting a pack with RUSH Instrumentals, the pros:
* Singers need a break sometimes
* Rush instrumentals ROCK, they are all special, unique compositions
* YYZ is still so great to play on GH, I'd love to play the bass part!

Song-Suggestions:
* YYZ
* Where's my thing (from the "Roll the Bones" album)
* The Main Monkey Business (from "Snakes and Arrows")

This would be pure paradise folks, believe me!

I can even sing the guitar part of YYZ but I doubt that this might be helpful :-)))

Bad Idea This is Rock Band not Guitar Hero. The Basic Idea is ALL Four instruments are to be used at the same time.

But we might as well go for broke and ask for La Villa Strangiato, right?

Any Rush song would be a great addition!
Seriously, I think it would be ok to have a few(!) great(!) bonus songs without vocals, the odd-timed Rush rock songs would be perfect! Challenging and great fun to play...

With a little more distance, some more prog-rock songs would be very nice! I don't mind if there are vocals, I simply think the Rush instrumentals are little gems!!!

Sure! This should not happen and it should be quite easy to avoid instrumentals if a singer is actively singing. Maybe with a minor RockBand patch, dunno.

I'm talking about a bonus pack, maybe only one or two bonus tracks.

Think of your favourite GuitarHero songs!
I bet many of them (at least some of them) are instrumentals without vocals! Imagine GuitarHero without all the instrumental tracks. It would lose a lot of value IMHO.
