This is true. There was not enough of the classics on the guitar hero games which I love. Like April Wine, Eagles and as mentioned above John Mayer is a must.

A must should be something like this:

B.B. King -> The thrill is gone
Johnny Winter -> Johnny B. Goode
Stevie Ray Vaughan -> Pride and joy or rude mood
Eric Clapton -> Hoochie coochie man or Five long years
ZZ Top -> La grange
Jimi Hendrix -> Red house

Any of the mentioned above deserve to be included before John Mayer. If you ask me I even prefer Jonny Lang or Kenny Wayne Shepherd before Mayer.

I personally love this list and would love to see classics. The Beatles would be great and I personally would love to see John Mayer. I know he doesn't wail out on his guitar death metal style but he's made some amazing songs and I would love to see gravity, to sing it would be great, maybe Goergia, or 3x5, or Daughters I'm just saying you need a balance between the heavy and the not-so-heavy. He's an amazing guitarist.

I think Gravity would be nice. Also, get rid of The Beatles?!! No, man, the Beatles are awesome! Since this game is mostly guitar-driven though, why not put a George Harrison classic on there? "Here Comes The Sun" would be great.

the reason i say no beatles aren't because i don't like them but because their songs are well... too boring and simple for this game.

Honestly, i agree with you. That's why i picked "Can't Buy Me Love". It's a simple tune with an easy solo that'd be fun to play as one of the openers.
