AHHH Canada again!

I was looking at the gamespot forums, and I saw 2 or 3 people confirming that rock band in Canada had been delayed until Dec. 20th. I'm hoping this is just a miss print or that they ment the ps2 version and not the 360 version, but still, AHHH

Until i see a press release or get confirmation from harmonix, i won't believe it. What would the reason be?

I had a PS3 list printed off at my local EBGAMES on oct 30th and It has Rockband SE for PS3 as DEC 8th release date with unknown price... never the less I have it reserved. I was even more confused when i saw the nov 20th release date on all the websites tonight .. now I saw this and I am even more confused... arghh

You are in total denial.. (I hate as much as you the idea of getting it later, but after my GH1 experience, I'm no more in denial and I'll be less dissapointed, I just want it to be available at least for Christmas!)

I'm pretty sure it's the same reason that your dollar is worth more than ours, yet you generally pay more for products than we do. If you can find the answer to one, you'll likely find the other.

humm not sure but perhaps:
1- The main issue is probably the production of the peripherals. (there is an article saying that even in the USA, people should pre-order to be sure to have one at the release date. That's bad fnews, they pull the dates sometimes in this case.. USA is the priority it seems :rolleyes: )

2 -As for french packaging, yes, it can be a reason for delay, however, all companies involved have released numerous things before and I'm sure they were all aware of Canadian packaging laws, so hopefully it won' be an issue!

Now no confirmation but an Unconfirmed date = bad (plus confirmed push dates report by many people from their ebgames stores ex:10 dec, 18 dec, 20 dec and whatever).

1 - From an editor an editor at a major gaming site « Sadly there is no Canadian date. It shouldn't be too far behind the Nov 20 launch in the US »

2 - E-mail someone got back from Harmonix : « The Canadian bundle will be priced the same as the US release. We don’t have a date for you yet, but we are working on it, and will have it out as soon as possible.

I don't want to be the devil's advocate but.. well I'm a realistic.. and we'll have a wider choice for DLC at the release AND at lot more hype from all the people having fun playing and reporting it at the forum (well that will be a real torture :eek: .
