Old player, new questions...

Hello peeps, I´m an old time player from Brazil and last week I finally played LIVE for my first time. I only played "Rock Band" so far, but I already got tons of questions for you guys... If you´re kind enough to give me some tips, I´ll really apreciate it. Rock on.

1) After playing a song, is it normal to (sometimes) take a while to show the resulsts?
2) Why some players have gold or silver "IM" icons?
3) Is it possible to play DLC songs online without downloading? I downloaded a bunch of songs already, but I think I played a couple songs in tow mode that weren´t in my songlist.

1) When playing Band Quickplay online, yeah that happens sometimes.

2) Gold icon means they beat the Endless Setlist on Hard. The Platinum one means they beat the Endless Setlist on Expert.

3) No, everybody must have the DLC songs to play them online.

it's a setlist of every song on the disc, and when you beat it, you get a special online icon, from inverted to Platinum. You can find it in Russia, I think; after you have a certain amount of fans.

To clarify, since he didn't... Endless Setlist is in Band World Tour (Multiplayer) only. And, yup, it's in Moscow.

The other requirement to unlock Endless Setlist other than having a certain amount of stars/fans is to beat Hall of Fame. That's also in Moscow. If you beat Hall of Fame you get clear instruments. :) Just keep in mind that bass and guitar are separate, so if you want both the clear guitar and the clear bass for one guitarist character you have to play Hall of Fame through twice, with that character being the part of the instrument you want.

Perhaps the extra songs were off of the bonus tour. When you say old player, do you mean you've been playing the game for awhile or that you yourself are old? Alot of this stuff is pretty self explanatory after about a month or so of playing (at least if you're as obsessive as me)

It needs to be local multiplayer.

On the plus side, you can do it alone if you can sing and play an instrument at the same time. Just make sure you can do both at the same level.
You also get an award for completing the Endless Setlist on Medium; the colours invert on your icon.

If you play Hard Bass and Medium vocals, for example, you'll get the Medium award, rather than the hard one for both characters. :(

Yeah, you only get the icons from offline band multiplayer (aka Band World Tour). Platinum icons you get from beating the Endless Setlist on Expert.

You can play by yourself if you sing and play the guitar/bass at the same time. ;)

One more question: Is it possible if I play guitar on hard and my friend play bass on medium??? I´ll still gain the gold???

No. You will both get the Medium reward (inverted/vinyl icon) for that. As was stated earlier, it goes by the lowest chosen difficulty of anybody playing.
