Im getting tired of not having any maiden DLC yet instead they put out crappy bands for dlc!!!

Iron Maiden are Gods... Legends and deserve to have more of them on rockband.. not to mention us fans want maiden!!

I suck at playing The Number of the Beast and Run to the Hills on guitar and bass because I can't get the funky triplets and chord/not chord things down.

OMG! For the last time people, Iron Maiden probably won't have DLC anytime soon, with the NO-COVER thing going on. I don't think Maiden's songs can be used.

I understand a master of NOTB was used in GH3, but that was just guitar.

Iron Maiden doen't want to give out the masters to MTV because Iron Maiden hates MTV.
Also drums and vocals are in a same ... uuh.... file?? and they cannot be used in rock band but in guitar hero they could.

I want Iron Maiden master dlc too, but other bands need attention; we already have run to the hills in disc and number of the beast as dlc

First off, there are lots of Maiden threads because they have a large fanbase. They are one of the most loved bands that has yet to crawl into the mainstream. Second off, what do you mean they aren't fun? "The Number of the Beast" is a blast to play. It's more fun that Metallica, which is way more difficult. I really don't know what you're trying to get at with that comment.

I just need one song to fuel my Maiden love. My preferred pack would be:

"Aces High"
"Phantom of the Opera"

Then let's get some new stuff. The last three albums they've put out are classics, even though they don't hold the influence as the '80s albums. I'm sure that we could get "Paschendale", "Out of the Silent Planet", and "The Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg" to work in the game. Surely they have must have changed their recording style.

However, I do think that TheCrimsonSaint is correct with his theory. He said that, since Maiden is on tour, and they bring EVERYONE on tour with them, there is no one around to locate the masters. Let's hope that's the case and we'll get something in the future.

What can you expect with MTV? Whenever those channels broadcast anything about metal, it's all cheesy and gives the genre a bad name, which then makes most people think that all metalheads are crazy people. It really pisses me off.

I have to agree with the other poster. Despite being a huge Maiden fan I just don't find the songs fun to play. I re-bought GH2 on 360 for The Trooper and ended up only playing it a couple times. Ditto for Number of the Beast DLC. I'd honestly rather get a Dio-era Sabbath pack or more Priest than Maiden.

Rime of the Ancient Mariner would be hilarious, though. My gf is already mad at me because she sometimes has to sing the German songs I downloaded. She'd probably just quit after 10 minutes and no end in sight.

We will see Iron Maiden. There is nothing wrong with their masters (well no idea about the first 2 albums but after that they had Martin Birch in charge...the man knows what he is doing). The situation is not as dire as it seems, it's just taking too long for those of us who are dying for our Maiden fix.

As for Hendrix, he is not exclusive to GHWT.

Maiden is STILL on tour, and has been almost since Rock Band 1 came out. Be patient. I would not be surprised if something special is planned for the band's music, it's not like Harmonix and Activision/Neversoft don't know the worldwide demand for more Maiden in these games.

Personally, I would pay $100 just to play the Powerslave solo. :)

Ya, this is what these people who come screaming at HMX don't seem to get. They obviously know iron maiden is one of the most wanted bands, the band and their labels are the ones who have the final say of whether or not they get to use their music. If they said they could use some maiden songs they're obviously not going to turn it down, it's not like they're just not giving us maiden to screw with us, it's got to be the band or label.

I actually like the Blaze-era music, but the mastering on those records was pure garbage. They had this horrible muffled sound to them that make them hard to listen to.

That said, the X Factor in particular is very solid with one or two exceptions.
