Practice Speed Problem WTF??

Whenever I go into practice mode, the speed ALWAYS stays at 50%. When I try to use the directional arrows on the drum kit, it just switches back to 50%. I've tried picking full speed before doing the section, but as soon as the song starts, it just switched back to 50%, WTF is going on?!?

Your d-pad isn't screwed up, is it? Possibly...triggering left nonstop, making it slow down to 50% automatically?

I'm not sure if that's the case, I don't use it very often.

No.

Works just fine on everything but the practice area.

Yeah I have this problem too. I'm thinking it is a PS3 related bug. The fix is to unplug the drum controller and plug it back in, then you can speed the song back up to 100%.

Are all of you with this problem on the PS3? That's a weird glitch.

just reset it. it was stuck at 100% one time and whenever i tried to turn it down it would bump back up to 100, as if the game was repeatedly pressing the right arrow

*also* i was on the 360, so this is probably a bug on all the systems

I am using a PS3 and have never had this problem, I practice pretty often too..

I had this problem once. I reset my PS3 and it hasn't happened since.

It's a known problem with certain DLC songs, as in it's a glitch in the DLC file itself. When they identify these problems they just upload a new song to the XB/PS3 store and when you download it again you get the "v1.1" of the file, fixing the glitch.

That assumes this only happens on certain songs.

That's probably why, I was practicing Who Are You, the ending put me in red :mad:

Delete the song data and redownload for a fixed version. Sorry if you're on PS3 as I think that means you have to redownload ALL of your songs.

There's a few DLC songs that are stuck on 50% speed no matter what speed you choose from the menu. You can't even change it with D-pad after the fact. It's a problem with the DLC file that's solved by redownloading the updated version.
