how about some more "as made famous by" ...... GH got a lot of Aerosmith -- don't get me wrong, I dig most of the songs in RB now but -- it would obviously own GH -- if it had a few true guitar gods .... no?

Most of what you named are extremely guitar-centric. Rock band is about the entire band, and they tend to lean toward music that is interesting and/or challenging for the other three players as well.

(I'd love some of those too, but this isn't the wishlist forum.)

GH has alot of Aerosmith because they own exclusive rights to all Aerosmith from here on. The other stuff is all being worked on and fought over by both Harmonix of RB and Activision of GH. It's alot of work and time put into the process. Read some of the stickies on these forums and you may learn a bit about it.

...No, no they don't.
Most of the DLC we get is hard for one of the four peripherals. We don't usually get hard-as-a-band DLC.
Hell, we still haven't had a tier 9 vocal DLC yet. ...Yet.

People need to forget about Zeppelin, for sure, but that doesn't mean we'll ever see them.

We just have to wait for them to die, and their song rights will pass onto a younger generation who don't have as much a problem because they didn't write the stuff.

I'm just trying to make a point. Once the song list is confirmed it will only have 80+ artists at the maximum. That means that a crapload-80+ artists won't be in there, just like Rock Band 2, or any other music rhythm game. There's always going to be someone saying, "OMG WIER IS TEH (insert band name here) IN THIS GAEME?!??!/1/?!/1?1one" which is basically what the OP did here.

That's why Rock Band DLC was such a good idea, releasing new tracks every week keeps people interested, spending money and in the long term, satisfied.

Swap out "Pride and Joy" (already been in 2 games; need a different song) with "Love Struck Baby" and you have a deal.

I hate tht Guitar Hero has to get exclusive rights to bands just because they cant compete fairly. We should start giving HMX money so that they can buy exclusive rights to every band tht GH hasnt!!
