So, me and my friends got together at 8:00 tonight for rock band. So first I was supposed to work till 11' tonight but my boss let me off early. So I invite 3 friends over to play rock band. (Im an Expert Drummer BTW) they all can only stay till nine.
We start off playing the Distrubed pack and then follow it up with Rush's Working Man (Vault Edition) We then stop when I want to change my guys clothing. So eventually I come out of Rock Shop with a Pink Polo and a fauxhawk. But because Im already in my Solo Tour I decide to just give a shot at RttH.
Now my friends will tell you how much trouble this song has given me. After breesing through everything but Foreplay. (Yes even DFTR only took me 2 tries which I think is cool lol) 2 Months of nothing but me failing Rtth. Also I said I was not going to try it until my Good Wood's set came in. But I decide just give it one go infront my friends. So I start I do really well in the intro, then I get into the main song and for the first 30 seconds I think I missed like 2 notes. I also had a full bar of Overdrive. So then I work my way to the part with the 3 Pedal hits and activate. This is ussually the part that kills me. I make it out with only slightly dropping to yellow. I work my way back to green buy now im through the large drum roll and back into the main beat. Seconds after this I realize im about to beat the song. My friends start cheering then BIG ROCK ENDING. I smash my pedal so hard on the practice pad the beater flies out but I keep going buy now my friends are standing and cheering. I finish the song, whip my sticks into the air and start yelling, one of my sticks hits the cieling fan and flys out and hits my friend in the head but we all keep chearing, im kicking and screaming all the way through the credits, when they end im simply asotounded that I was able to finally do it.
My friends say they only have time for one or 2 songs. One of my friends says that we should download the Oasis song Rock and Roll Star. So we do and we start playing, its easy of course and the chrous makes me fell like I acctually am a rock and roll star and then the super amazing outro comes and its like the best drum beat ever then in the final 10 seconds of the song I stand up and start smashing my drum kit, to bits. I crack the blue and nearly pull off the yellow I break the red clean off and the green bends down 45 degrees. The song ends and I pick up the drum kit over my head and smash it to bits on the ground. Sure I dont have a kit to play on for a bit now but who cares this is what Rock Band was all about and im even more into the game than ever now.
