they have a bunch of free clips online. Basically it's a animation team that made a entire comupter animation suite powered by midi and music software. Every short they make uses a unqiue midi powered instrument that's animated completly by the music.
I have both dvds and their pretty awesome. They've been working on a 3rd for quite some time now. I'd love it if one day rock band looked as cool as these shorts.

.....while I consider that one of my favorite anime's I ponder WTH it has to do with animusic the series. BTW the pillows did a lot of the rock songs in that soundtrack so hopefully we get one of the english singles in RB at some point.

I happened to see Animusic for the first time in August 2006 while my gf and I were in Las Vegas (when it was too #@$#@ hot to go outside haha) on the motel tv.

I happened to catch about 25 minutes of it on PBS when we got home, and have never seen it again (thankfully I captured it on the TiVo!).

I really dig this stuff. I wish I could find more, but I guess I'll just have to order straight from PBS.org =/

i got the first DVD off of Blockbuster online. They dont have the second DVD though so i havent seen all of it. But the few clips i have seen...i have loved.

Yes, I have seen this on PBS. It was very nice to watch. I also enjoyed the much of the music included in the clips. Most of the clips were also very entertaining as they were so extremely complex at points.

It was great.

Yeah, I've seen all of these before. They are really super cool. :)

And yes, that would be awesome to see a music/rhythm/GH/RB game look that good someday.
