In Utero-Nirvana (this is their best album in my opinion, and I definitely would be pissed as a Nirvana fan if Nevermind gets put on)
System of a Down-System of a Down (alright so ya their self title is their best album, and hypnotize and mezmerize suck these are words from all real System of a Down fans)
Mellon Collie and the Infinite- Smashing Pumpkins (once again this album is my favorite album and rocking out to it would be crazy fun!)
Origin of Symmetry-Muse ( I knopw everyone wants Absolution of course, but real Muse fans know that their best rock is in Origin. guitarists would love Plug in Baby, and vocals would have a fun time trying to immitate Matthew Bellamy's voice. I myself would love to play new born on any instrument.
Evil Empire- Rage Against the Machine (this album is my favorite album ever it kicks the **** out of Battle of LA and it would make this game the greatest game ever.)

I completely agree with all albums!
I would include:Showbiz-Muse along with the ones you've chosen.
Playing sunburn would be a challenge, but would be great when you finally complete it!
Some radio head albums would be awesome to put in as well, although they have some synth in some songs, they're still really good songs to play.

I think you need to stop suggesting crappy albums from good bands...if any of these bands get albums in the game I HOPE TO GOD that their best albums get into the game...which means NEVERMIND (for sure, no doubt about it), TOXICITY (for sure again), and ABSOLUTION (although I'm not a big Muse fan, but I like KofC...so you may be right on origins...I guess I'll let the REAL muse fans decide what album they want, just like I wouldn't want fair-weather Rush listeners dictating which Rush albums get into my game!)

You lost credibility instantly when you proclaimed yourself a "true fan".

You lost credibility instantly when you proclaimed yourself a "true fan".
I am a true fan maybe you guys can think you know what your talking about when you say their popular albums are the best when you really have no idea what you are talking about. Nevermind is a disgrace and is why Kurt Cobain became depressed about his fans. He hated all those people who loved Nevermind and the song smells like teen spirit. If you like that song then you can not call yourself a real fan. Oh ya and next time you disagree with someone why don't you try to put some proof behind it instead of claiming i am not credible. I hate how people think the popular radio albums were the best. Look at Rage Against the Machine if you look at their popularity and fans most will say their self title or Evil Empire is the best. I am a huge Muse fan. They are my favorite band. I can name everyone of their songs including unreleased ones. and I know popularity wise Absolution (which does not have Knights of Cydonia on it) is their most popular, but seriously their best album for this game, and their best album to rock out to is definitely Origin of Symmetry. These are my top 5 favorite bands so to discredit me without even knowing weather I am a true fan or not is ridiculous. I am saying as a view point from someone who has liked these bands for a long time these would be the best to play to. Since we are on the internet there is no real way to prove who knows more or who is a real fan or what not, but it is ridiculous to instantly discredit me, and then provide no backup.

Also I would not mind Toxicity, as long as we don't get Hypnotize or Mezmerise. I personally prefer their self title but again I know everyone loves Toxicity, but I think their self title would be awesome to jam too.

Yuck.
Id rather see:
Iron Maiden - Number of the Beast or any of their discography
Deep Purple - Machine Head or Deep Purple in Rock
Faith No More - The Real Thing
Rush - Moving Pictures or 2112
Pearl Jam - Ten

Evil Empire would be great but so would the self titled debut...
As for Muse I completely agree. New born would be amazing. Also Black Holes and Revelations would be great too especially Knights Of Cyndonia, my god that song makes me want to cry in joy everytime I hear it.
As for me;
Weezer - Blue Album
The Strokes - Is This It, Room On Fire
To me them 3 albums are great choices.
Also some Bloc Party (Maybe Silent Alarm) as everything is bloody amazing, especially the drumming. Matt Tong is a bloody good drummer.
Guns And Roses - Appetite For Destruction - No explanation needed.
Them would all be incredible for me as DLC.

Origin of Symmetry-Muse
Dude, totally agreed. Absolution and Black Holes and Revelations are incredible, but OoS has songs that would be totally badass (Micro Cuts, Plug In Baby, Citizen Erased, etc.)

I Completeley agree with the TC.
In Utero is leagues better than Nevermind. SOADs debut is just as good as Toxicity, even though I think the latter would make a better RB album. Melon Collie is incredible, and I really like the last two albums as well.
At this point these are the 5 albums I want:
Is This It - The Strokes
Ok Computer - Radiohead
In rainbows - Radiohead
Superunknown - Soundgarden
Led Zeppelin II - Led Zeppelin

The one album this game needs is Onesidezero's self titled album. Here's a stream of it: http://www.altsounds.com/altsounds/bands/4997/index2.php
Every song on this album is great in every instrument. The best part is that it doesn't sacrifice the guitar at all. There are intersting vocals, bass and drums, as well as great riffs and solos.
Definitely listen to : "Carry Your Gun", "Breath", "My Confession", "Sleep", "Stay", "Cardboard Cutouts" and "TrickassHo"

Hmmm... interesting question. Time to peruse the old library:
King Crimson - Discipline (EDIT: I don't know why I didn't think of this first!)
The Mars Volta - De-Loused in the Comatorium
My Bloody Valentine - Loveless (And you wouldn't even have to learn the lyrics. No one knows them anyway!)
Sonic Youth - Daydream Nation
Pink Floyd - Animals
Damn. That was hard. And I'm still second guessing myself... a lot. I'm going to leave now.

as much as i love red and king crimson that wouldn't be a good choice. two songs out of the five are instrumentals, and one of them even though being one of the greatest songs ever written by man (starless) has a loooooong instrumental section that wouldn't be very fun to either the singer or the guitarist since fripp does a 2 note "solo" for like 3 minutes.
other than that and loveless (since i hate that album) thats a good set of albums

Noted. Fun to play as an actual band, but not so much with Rock Band. Therefore, it has been substituted.

Led Zeppelin-Led Zeppelin I
Led Zeppelin- Led Zeppelin II
Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin III
Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin IV
Led Zeppelin - Mother Ship
That should do it.

Muse's best rock may be in Origin.
But would it be equal in terms of fun for all 4 people?
Not really. As a Muse fan, and a Bass player, Origin is my LEAST favorite album to play along to.
Sure there are a couple exceptions, but altogether Absolution is a far better choice in terms of fun for everyone.
Actually, Black holes and revelations would be good too.

First off, let me say you're a crack head for saying that someone that likes a band isn't a fan, or a "true" fan as you put it.
Second, don't be one of those non conformist ******s that think that just because something is popular, it's automatically crap (though it does happen to be the fact quite often now days with fallout boy and panic at the disco). And if you must be one of those ******s, please pick less mainstream bands.
Third, although I do like Muse, I must admit that they wouldn't be a very good band for the game, and certainly not an entire album. Maybe a single or two.
And finally, it is my FIRM belief that Tokyo Police Club's "A Lesson in Crime" should be included in the DLC. Awesome vocals, some actually enjoyable bass parts, awesome drums, and killer guitar.
PLEASE check these guys out and tell me I'm right, they have a MySpace with some songs (as any band does these days).

Shame there isn't a keyboard/piano add-on for the game because Butterflies and Hurricanes would be fantastic to play.
My albums though
Muse - Absolution :Purely for Time is Running Out, Hysteria and Stockholm Syndrome. Loads of fun there for everyone.
Radiohead - The Bends : I think out of the Radiohead albums I've listended to (not Kid A yet) this would fit the game best. Lots more rocking out here than on OK Computer, no amount of Paranoid Android can change this :p
The Killers - Hot Fuss : Pretty much every song would be great to play on Rock Band, plus you don't have to try to hard to get the vocals done well ;)
Kaiser Chiefs - Yours truly Angry Mob : Just kidding.
Oasis - What's the Story Morning Glory : Another great one to play, immitating the vocals could be a laugh :D

yes and it is tools like you who like Nevermind I am not non conformist but it is true most people suck so when an album becomes popular media wise instead of by what the real fans think of it then it is a piece of ****. And Muse would be perfect for rock band, they are really talented and have good music. if you had a reason why they wouldn't be good for it I would love to address your concerns but seeing how you have nothing backing that up except for the fact that you "admit" that they wouldn't be good. I don't see why they wouldn't. Most music they put on here is similar to each other, they need some wider varieties, and I think this would be a very challanging vocalist to match. If you can honestly listen to New Born without wanting to rock out to that then there is something wrong with you. Especially if you would rather Tokyo Police Club. They can't compare to Muse.

The Bends and The Blue album are a given. Adding:
The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion (or Shake Your Money Maker) - The Black Crowes
Hold Me Up - Goo Goo Dolls (long before they became a pop band, they were a great punk band and sounded a lot like the Descendents, and this is their best album)
Purple Rain - Prince and the Revolution. Think outside the box a bit, noone would have thought of it.

It's not a question of whether they are good or not. I know they're good, I enjoy them, I rock out to them. The issue is that there is too much emphasis on the synths and keyboards. What Rock Band (Harmonix) is looking for is songs where there is equal emphasis is on vox, bass, guitar, and drums. Also "trade offs" between solos (eg guitar to drums, mini duels etc) is looked for. Just because a band is good doesn't mean that they are good for Rock Band.
PS "but it is true most people suck" "when an album becomes popular media wise instead of by what the real fans think of it then it is a piece of ****." So shouldn't we have critics with some actual credibility be the judges of whats good rather than Joe Schmoe thats big into aviators cuz they are uber BA rockstar accessories (ie you) and determines who a "fan" based on whether they agree with what you think? have you ever listened to origin of symmetry it has very little synth compared to their other albums. I'm sure you just listened to black holes and revelations and think you know everything . A lot of other bands on here use a ton of synth and there are plenty of ways to counter synth For instance look at guitar hero 3's adaptation of knights of cydonia. you should seriously know what you are talking about before you make a decision on these things.

oh ya also...wow big deal he wears aviators...so what he needs sunglasses and what if he likes the way they look. If you have to bring appearance into an argument it proves you have no more fuel to prove your point so you go after personal attacks. That is kind of patheitic really. I think they should listen to fans and not media.

No, I have their full discography. I don't get why you are trying to defend Muse, they aren't being attacked. Everybody here is saying yeah, they are a good band. And GH3 is different from rock band (obviously). They only need good guitar parts, so if there's a guitar solo in the song then its a serious possibility. Also, if you haven't noticed, Rock band is trying to get as many master tracks as possible, adaptations need not apply.
