Question regarding star power and new Stratocaster

Is star power still accessible through a button? If so, is it reasonably accessible? I'm asking because after getting used to the precision of hitting the button on the SG, I hated having to tilt the Xplorer.

They went back to the knob feature of the SG guitar..so Star Power goes back to the hitting of the palm..lol

It's good that they've implimented the choice of either. Personally though, I prefer tilting the controller. It's just so rocking, and I find that I don't have the dexterity to only hit the one button, and end up pausing the game all the time.

I would like to see a choice for star power activation in the options where I am able to enable or disable the tilt action. When I am just playing for fun I like the full rock action of tilting the guitar. When I am playing to try and beat a song and the smallest of jiggles sets off star power I feel the urge to kill. I have a large round belly and mere breathing will fire star power. I would imagine adding the toggle in the options would be minimal work and save all us fatties until the rock gods grant us our rock hard abs after years of dedication and worship:)

Amen to that, brother! BTW, ever looked at yourself in a reflection while playing the game? Us fat guys look hilarious with the guitar. Our huge stomaches seem to make the guitar look even small again, lol

I do prefer the tilit action though, even when I'm going for a high score.

I must admit that most times it is not an issue. Just during some sticky sections in career mode where you hit a wall and a premature star power stood between you and opening up new songs. I still find a need for it today trying to get through Jordan on expert. Damn that 56% wall. For some reason when I hit the solos my body goes into convulsions and activates star power before it is due. I swear if I met Buckethead it would be a flip of a coin if I would hug him or kick him in the gonads.

As for the mirror thing, I think I will just make others go blind as I dance around the living room with a plastic guitar in my skivvies ;)
