Rock Band RP?

I know it sounds far fetched. But we have the tools to show what our characters look like (Rock Band character creator). How about a Rock Band forum RP? We could roleplay as our own characters and give them a story and personality. So what do you say?

Yeah, the "G". RP=Role Playing. RPG=Role Playing Game. What you are suggesting is a text-based RPG. Also, I hate text-based RPGs.

Anyone remember the days when people didn't respond to every thread and shoot down someone else's idea just because it's not their cup of coffee? At least, that's what we do in decent society.

I'd be all for the Rock Band RP but my character would die from substance abuse within 3 weeks of reaching stardom - thanks to his low constitution score. Having a torso that thin can't possibly be good.

How would such a thing work and be cool? Do you just post on these boards in your rock band personae? Does mini-conan even have a persona?
