Sorry, I meant "Splitting" ;)

Can you use 2 360's with 2 bundles and have 2 instruments on 1 screen and the other 2 instruments on another screen? Like Drummer & Singer on 1 and the 2 guitars on another? I searched for this but could not find it anywhere. Thanks.

No, the XBOX 360 doesn't support multiple displays but you could do a "band quickplay" (and later BWT hopefully) online to get the same end-result. The calibration issues of synching the music between the two boxes may be problematic though, and in the end you might not even be able to stand doing that.

he didnt mean multiple displays for one xbox. He's asking if you can play as a band on system link, like linking up 2 xboxs.
To answer the topic creator, i do not know if you can. my gut feeling says no, but that's just a guess.

He was clear that he was going to use two XBox 360's and so the multiple displays answer (although absolutely correct) is irrelevant. Your suggestion for online play, however, is spot on.

As an alternative, I think the question could be. "Does Rock Band support local LAN play?"

Why would you want to play on 2 different xboxes? I know there may be slightly more room on the screen, but I don't think the regular interface is cramped enough to want to play with 2 tv's, unless maybe you don't have enough space in one area for 4 people.

I think there might also be an issue with lag, where if you could hear both tv's they might not be completely in sync.

The title of this thread gave me a very vivid and humorous mental image. :p

Yeah I misundersood what he was asking and thought he wanted to share an instance of RB even though they were on separate boxes and displays. System link is a valid question though--I don't think that's been addressed, and since it hasn't I'm with the rest of the thread that thinks probably won't be able to do it.

Indeed. I was going to advise him to keep babies away from the 360s. All sorts of substances come out of seemingly every orifice. Disgusting little creatures... :)

After seeing the ultimate rockband setup on that OrlandoOnline Blog..

Has anyone built a mount and support for say a 19" display for the drummer?

In theory you could split a component connection right?

XBOX---->TV
---->2ND DISPLAY

So then the band members could be crowding the front HDTV and you in the back can see the notes on your own display? Granted 19" may be too small but maybe a 24" ..
