I'm not one of those people that is really passionate about having their browser resized, but being forced to full-screen at large resolutions (24" monitor at home, larger at work) it's pretty jarring.
If the designers are dead-set on the resizing at least let us set a session cookie or something to disable it upon subsequent visits.

I believe you can actually set your browser in it's options to not allow browser resizing.

Yeah that's a good point--I think that's an advanced JS option in Firefox and Camino.
At work and on the desktop at home I primarily use Safari though, so in those cases it'd be nice to have an option on the site but I understand I'm in a minority there. =)

For those using Firefox...
~Under the 'Tools' menu, select 'Options'
~Click the 'Content' tab
~Look for where it says "Enable Javascript" and hit the "Advanced" button
~Uncheck the box "Move or resize existing windows" (it should be at the top of the list)
For those using anything else...
