Check this (http://www.mp3.com/news/stories/10406.html) out! EMI is basically whoring out Radiohead's back catalog in response to all the hype over their self-released new album. You gotta think this is good news for the possibilities of Radiohead DLC!!!

Let's hope so.

But it has to be Ok Computer.

Kid A wouldn't work so well. PLEASE let there be OK Computer.

Maybe we can get some In Rainbows DLC for "name your own price"

In terms of complete albums, I can't see any other album possibly being as interesting as OK Computer. It's definitely not my favorite, but it is a brilliant work that still conforms well to the standard rock group format. But I'm not going to get too excited about playing "Airbag" until the official announcement seeps out.

Heres what I want by the way (that would work for RB and is on the first 6 albums):

Airbag
2 + 2 = 5
A Wolf At the Door
Climbing up the Walls
Electioneering
Go to Sleep
The Bends
In Limbo
Just
Karma Police
Let Down
Lucky
My Iron Lung
No Surprises
Optomistic
Paranoid Android
Planet telex
Nice Dream
I Might Be Wrong
The Tourist
You

and more I froget at the moment!

Radiohead's new CD for DLC is sort of a no brainer to me. All HMX needs to do is contact them, and I'm sure they are on good terms since Creep is in the game. This DLC "name your own price" is one hell of a great idea. It seems to me that Radiohead would be for it, the question is... Is HMX for it?

Off subject but:

But Parlophone is also selling a 4GB USB drive, in the shape of Radiohead's "bear" logo, that contains WAV files of all seven albums, as well as artwork, for $160.

I want it! Not going to pay $160, considering I already own all the albums, but I will be looking on ebay :)

An album worth of playable Radiohead stuff on this game would be worth the price of the special edition version of this game alone.

i wrote this up a few months back. this seems like a good opportunity to give it a good ol bump...

The Ultimate Radiohead RB Setlist (in order of their albums):

Pablo Honey – entire album *minus Thinking About You (this album is good early 90’s rock, very underrated)

The Bends – entire album (literally every song would be awesome for every instrument)

My Iron Lung EP – The Trickster, Lewis (Mistreated), Punchdrunk Lovesick Singalong, Permanent Daylight (I doubt they would ever dig into the EP’s, but what the heck, it’s a wishlist)

OK Computer – entire album *minus Fitter Happier (this album is epic; Paranoid Android would be my pick for a song on the game disc if rh is included. it would be a perfect encore song imo)

Airbag/How Am I Driving EP – Pearly, Reminder, Polyethylene, Palo Alto

Kid A – Optimistic, Idioteque (if they could pull off the note chart for the guitar/noises, this would be such an incredible song to play)
- Considerations - How to Disappear Completely, Morning Bell

Amnesiac – I Might Be Wrong, Knives Out
- Considerations - Packt Like Sardines in a Crushd Tin Box, Dollars & Cents (again, if they can somehow map the note chart for the noises to the guitar and bass parts in these songs, they would be pretty fun)

Hail to the Thief – entire album *minus We Suck Young Blood (no guitar & too scary for the children) and I Will (no drums or bass) **The Gloaming & Myxomatosis are also songs where the guitar part would be noises; drum part for The Gloaming is electronic beats.

I ABSOLUTELY agree with Idioteque! I would not stop playing that song if they figured out a way to get it to work! Also ome of the songs from the new album would be nice such as:
15 Step
Bodysnatchers
Weird Fishes/Arpeggi
Jigsaw Falling Into Place
and eventually Bangers n Mash when the second disc comes out!

I'd kill for The Bends or OKC, and I'd kill babies for In Rainbows.

well, we got My Iron Lung for DLC today...its a start!

and I really dont think In Rainbows is a possibility for DLC. they would literally have to negotiate with the band directly since they no longer have a label, only a distribution deal. that would be like trying to talk to the pope to get his christmas album for DLC...yeah, not likely.

Well with news that Jigsaw Falling into Place is the first single off of In Rainbows, that makes that song all the more likely.

I'm extremely excited though with news of some actual Radiohead DLC!

I'm sure HMX and MTV wouldn't be for it, it takes time to make the charts and what not.
Maybe we could get it at a discounted price, but "name your own price" was a joke.
