Its been raining and thundering here for the past... what? 4-6 hours? i don't think i'd be lieing if i said half the citys power is out... shoulda known it was coming though since its been an arizona(dry) like summer...

I kinda live in the middle of nowhere. I do have a neighbor, but I can't yell that loud anymore... :(

I just did that... all that happened was a lady dressed in a trash bag talking about cheese that was walking by looked at me like i was crazy... then the laxative i took in the morning kicked in

oh man tell me about it... it was a horrible storm..

i went to town (Freeport) to get some supper... it was hot.. i seen the dark clouds i was just thinking "Oh yay, a Storm!" because i love the rain.

so after i ate... i realized it dropped a few degrees... got in the car and drove to Wal-Mart. got what i wanted. i heard it thunder.. i was thinking "Its here!". Walk outside and realized the temperature rose again... i was thinking "This is going to be ugly" The Humidity was High, and it was calm... the 2 not very good mixtures..

so driving home on HWY 20.. it starts to rain.. i was like "This is it?" Then it just Down-pours... so bad that i had to pull-over and wait for it to cool down so i can drive again... it slowed down and i continued to drive...

got to another town... then after i left that it started to down-pour again... and the wind picked up.. not good.

so i pulled over... waited 5-10 mins and said "F it... i'll drive 15 mph if i have to" so i started to drive home... then the whole window fogged up because the rain was that bad. i couldn't see a thing and pulled over as fast as i could. Then it pretty much stopped.

it was a horrible storm... and a learning expierence for my driving. (the other worst driving i did was on snow... god i hate that stuff)

There's one here too. Something blew up. I don't know what but that wasn't a normal thunder/lightning sound.

Nebraska has been hit pretty hard lately with storms. The one last month the winds were so bad, about 20% of the city was without power for anywhere from a day to two days, i was one of the luckies who got it without for two days :/ Lost a whole fridge of food too as we had just done our grocery shopping for the week the night beforehand.
