So, 14 days to go. Here's what we need (as I see it).

DLC cost(s)
Street date and official pricing for individual instruments
Some reviews
List of bonus songs
DLC release schedule (though that might remain mystery-wrapped for a while)
null

Am I missing anything?

PS - With all the talk of guitar flakiness, I haven't seen any negatives about the build quality from the major website play testers. Though the IGNorant Sluts are nearly unlistenable, they certainly have been pushing the strum bars pretty hard.

The order of songs and tier structure for the solo modes.

That's bout it though...man, how quickly we got all that...

I bet we won't get DLC pricing until the day it releases.

That one dude has a weird way of playing the guitar - palm against the guitar, all downstrokes with the tip of his middle finger. Does anyone else do that? Does it work well?

(I'm slow - I never saw the IGNorant until you just capitalized it...)

Some mysteries remaining for me:

1. In the solo modes, do you create just your own rocker, or do you get to create the whole band (as well as the logo, etc)?

2. Can the same rocker be used for each of the solo tours, or do you have to create a new rocker for each tour?

3. Once you complete the solo tours, is there any way (in the solo modes) to earn additional cash for more instruments, clothes, tats, etc?

4. Can the rocker(s) you create for the solo tours be used for WBT? (I know the same rocker can be in multiple bands in WBT)

5. In WBT, if you earn $5,000 for a gig (for example), does each player get that amount to spend on in-game goodies, or is it divided among the players?

6. In WBT, is there a minimum difficulty level that everyone has to play at for the band to earn money and other rewards? (related to #5)

7. In WBT, is everything repeatable? (can you go back and play that dive bar in Baltimore even after you've earned the jet and are playing stadium gigs in LA?)

I would say there's a 99% chance that the money you earn in WBT will be split amongst all members of the band. Or there will just a a band pot and you distribute the money to all things the band members need: clothing, intruments, etc.

2) No, created characters are tied to a single instrument. There are also instrument-specific accessories.

4) I believe the same character can be used in BWT, solo, and quickplay.

7) Yes.

To keep from being a quotefest, I'll just copypasta the unanswered.

1. In the solo modes, do you create just your own rocker, or do you get to create the whole band (as well as the logo, etc)?
* All indications show you only make your own rocker, and generic black/white themed extras are fill-in for the other slots. Videos show the created rocker's name in place of the band's name on stage decoration.

3. Once you complete the solo tours, is there any way (in the solo modes) to earn additional cash for more instruments, clothes, tats, etc?
* Unknown. My GUESS is no, unless you take them into BWT.

6. In WBT, is there a minimum difficulty level that everyone has to play at for the band to earn money and other rewards? (related to #5)
* The tour "finishes" on Medium. Forced-hard and Forced-expert are only for extra challenges. You can get the endless setlist on medium, for instance, and that's pretty hardcore.

One thing I don't get is in WBT/BWT/howeveryouspellit, if you CAN repeat a gig, do you earn the same money/fans for doing it? You could "grind" the easy ones to fill up your cash, if so. Or would it be like GH where you only get money if you beat your previous star rating, and then, only the difference? If you're a shopaholic AND a guitar god, you could end up running out of cash and having no more available because you already nailed all the gigs.

I don't think you have to beat the old score to get money. You can, however, lose fans for performing poorly, so I think that's the balance to keep you from grinding forever. And, of course, playing a local bar might just barely get you enough money for a haircut. I don't think we'll hear of much low-level grinding.

No, I remember reading in a blog or preview somewhere about how it could be beneficial to premiere a new song in a smaller club so that you wouldn't lose many fans if you failed it. So the fans/money will scale to the venue; in other words, you can play in a dive when you're famous, but the fans/money won't be enough to really move you along significantly.

As far as the bonus songlist goes, I doubt the whole thing will be announced until RB is less than a week away. I /think/ I remember reading that Harmonix wanted to keep a few songs secret until the game actually hits stores.
