Harmonix has proved they aren't afraid of a bit of humor in their games, so I've been thinking about what joke songs might be good for the game, and I came up with the perfect one.
Grab Your Garmin - Steve Grimmett, also known as the Maposaurus song.
By far the best Super Bowl commercial aired this year, not only did it spoof Ultraman, but featured a really awesome song that would rock so hard if it made it into the game.

Not only does it sound great, but if you look at the band, they have vocals, a lead guitar, a bassist, and a drummer. Sound familiar? The song matches up to Rock Band perfectly instrument-wise. I see no reason why this song shouldn't be released in the game to rock some faces off permanently.

Ya that songs would be awesome if I wanted to play a song while I'm sleeping. Or dress up in a costume.

Did you even listen to the song? I fail to see how that song is in any way boring for any instrument.

Pea - RHCP, only has bass and vocals though, its Flea's shining moment.

Haha, I love it, it's a shame it'd never make it in, though.

Here are a few more I've thought of.
Beezleboss - Tenacious D (EXPLICIT)

Strapping Young Lad - Love? (I'm rather sure this is the clean version, but the original is EXPLICT)

Red Hot Chili Peppers - Pea (Been mentioned, and should go without mention that it's EXPLICIT, buf it's still a great tune)

I am not attacking your song choice when I say that almost every rock band has vocals, lead guitarist, bassist, and drummer.

That's kind've besides the point. I'm more saying that it's a good joke song that would fit in the game well.

They're going to have a hard time finding something as awesome as Trogdor.

Because It's Midnite by Limozeen could be cool. However, "Don't Stick Marbles In Your Nose" by Scab would be perfect. It was a song on Home Movies (the cartoon Brendan Small made before Metalocalypse.)

Haha, Homestar Runner is such an old fad.
I agree with the latter, though. Though Home Movies wasn't as great as Metalocalypse, it was still a good show.
However, I can't find a long version (just the ten second clip in the episode), could you provide the topic with it? Is there even one?

The long version is secret song #1 on here. It's only 1:15 long, but it should still be pretty fun to play.

It's not my favorite D song, but the only one that would fit in Rock Band.

It's got a good band assortment, but I'd have some objection to singing or listening to some advertisement all the time.

Thunderhorse and Trogdor were just adverts for a show and a website.
