Why no GHIII DLC yet? They're waiting to see what Rock Band does.

I'm fairly sure that Activision is waiting to see what Harmonix/EA does with Rock Band, in terms of pricing. They don't want to overprice it, since people would flock to Rock Band. They're playing it (relatively) smart and waiting to see where Rock Band goes.

Whether that's why they haven't released any GH3 DLC yet or not, it will be interested to see how the prices compare.

If GH3's pricing is greater than or equal to RB's pricing per song, then GH3's pricing will kind of look like a rip off.

I think they're waiting for Rock Band. Rock Band has already promised DLC by launch. Right? Don't quote me on that, but I thought somewhere said there will be DLC on launch.

I'll be waiting. The packs that have been leaked. I'm kinda meh about. I want to see prices first. 400 I'll bite, 500.... Its iffy.

I know the DLC is going to hit the PSN in early December.

Even though the packs have leaked and we technically own 1/3 of the tracks available for purchase, like Eman said, they are just waiting for as many people to buy the game and people to get good bundles that have defective guitars and then release the 3 song packs.

The only one I would buy would be the boss battles at a discounted price. Ha! Like that would happen.

they can do what they want, I'm selling my Gh3 disc this weekend. Them selling the boss battles seperately tells me DLC from activision will always be a ripoff.

Who's Next IS an immediate release. I remember them saying it would be available on the launch date, others seem to think it was just within the week.

Beautiful Katamari also had DLC within a week of release.

Who's Next Will be out the week after or the week of release and they claim there will be DLC every week of 2007 following this.
