Every thing looks amazing and I hope that not only do you plan on having DLC for songs which I know you do but also other venues to go to on your world tour. I would be heart broken if more people didn't know about the ROXY in ATL,GA or The 40Watt (The Place R.E.M. and a ton of other great bands played and made famous) and the Georgia Theatre in Athens ,GA or The Tabernacle and The Mascarade, Vortex in ATL,GA! There are so many venues that are a big deal in the South East that it stinks that they are over looked this time around! Any plans on having Venues as DLC? Like Tour The South East pack? I would love to make my starting place Athens,Ga as it is home to great indie rock bands like Of Montreal and R.E.M. Please give me some feed back on this as most of the venues in the U.S. are either in the North East or Western United StatesIf you need any other proof of the popularity of the 40 watt just go here and be educated!

How about Cleveland, Ohio? It IS home to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame after all:p Seems like a decent place for Rock Band.

I think it's a great idea. HMX has said the venues are inspired by some real places, but not 100%. Growing up in Boston, I of course had a different idea of what places would be cool to see a show or better yet PLAY a show. The Paradise, The Middle east, Boston Tea Party, or the bigger places like the Garden, or the hip new venue in town- Fenway Park.
Although it would be wicked cool to play in places that have history, or places you know, how much really aside from the quick coolness of playing at *venue* it really won't affect game play much.
I would however LOVE to see more venues and more in the form of DLC.

Shoot this idea down if you want, but I was thinking yesterday that it would be fun to have a board that was like a fake late night talk show. That way when you're finally becoming famous, you can play on TV. I'm sure they could draw up a fake Conan or some other guy, and make it one of their random variations of playing a gig (like the charity one), where you can get a lot of fans (since you're on TV).

I'd go for an Ed Sullivan venue as part of The Doors DLC package.

Very cool idea, toefer. It would be awesome to get a TV gig.
I like the idea of DLC venues. So not only could you grow your setlists, but give you and your band exciting new places to play as well. Good stuff in this thread. Thanks, slee.
