Private Messaging Block?

I went to send a PM today to another user concerning a locked thread....the one about accepting invites. I had the same problem and was simply wanting to tell said user how I fixed the issue. I get to my PM inbox and it's disabled?

Is this just for me or is it a sitewide thing? If it's just for me, can I respectfully ask what I did to deserve my PM box to be locked?

use the PM system in the Rockers/Community instead of the one in the forums. Click on your name on the top of the page (where it says Welcome xxxxx), it should bring you to your profile. Then click on inbox, it will take you to PMs.
