Rock Blog Wednesday 11/07/07 Picking up speed.

So hopefully tonight the site will be moving a bit faster., We have some cats over at the data center fiddling with the doohickies. I know that sounds wicked technical, but I'm that kind of guy.

Every now and then you have these moments here where you realize you have achieved a new landmark of fame. Ours? This. (http://www.gametrailers.com/gameone.php?ep=18&movie_id=27549) Nothing says "your game is delicious" better than fondant.

Also people seem to be digging Phase, which rules, if you have it I will once again pimp the other site by saying you should go talk about it on www.phasegame.com (http://www.phasegame.com) as a bunch of the folks who worked on it are over there and they are pretty good about answering questions and talking about stuff.

Just one today but it is awesome. It is a profile of our resident Quality Assurance Manager Luke who is rad. If you ever thought about joining the industry or just kind of like finding out about how all this happens you should totally read it. Or just read it anyways. It is a fantastic read, but you don't have to take my word for it!

I find it funny that reading through the Phase comments that the Guitar Hero fanboys are the ones NOT buying the game and giving it one star. Once I find my friggin Ipod here I'll check it out, I need something else to play at work besides Puzzle Quest anyways!

Site seems to be running back at 100%. Which is bad because my productivity at work has dropped sharply. Thanks to the HMX team for working so hard to get the kinks out.

I find it ironic though, you wanted the Kinks for GH2 and couldn't get them, and now for RB you unexpectedly got them!

Depends. They are almost pure sugar. Most of the cake is frosting or marzipan. layer after layer after layer of frosting. So if thats your thing, more frosting than actual cake, then totally. Unfortunately they don't ship outside the bay area.

I think they are meant more as a novelty than like actual food
