okay so i know ive been sort of like the anti rockband setlist type, but im seriously... seriously digging rockband deep down... and i saw the video for Blitzkrieg pop and Run to the Hills and i have to admit i want the game now!!! i really do!! but i messed up :( !!! reservations were due 2 days ago and i didnt know!! :( is it possible for me to still get it on the 20th and not until march next year to get it :(!?!?!?!? someone help :(

But you may still be able to get it on the 20th, if you hit a big chain store very early in the morning on the 20th. Like a Wal-Mart, Circuit City, Best Buy, Toys R'Us etc., they will probably have a small amount. But around 1030-1100 people who may not have been able to get it from a Gamestop like place are going to flock to those big stores like no tomorrow.

Also you can still reserve it from the rock band main page but it has an arrival date of the 27th at the moment. It is probably because after the initial shipment there may not be enough for another week.

But you certainly won't have to wait until next March, I don't know where that comes from. The only thing you have to wait until early next year is individual instruments. And that is about January/February area.

Yeah, he's ******ed, basically. Places shut down pre-orders because they may not be able to guarantee copies once it reaches a certain number. But certainly not March, that is just absurd. If you hit one of those stores when they open (prob 8 or 9AM) you should be all set. But if you wait until mid-way in the day there could be problems.

However, if you live in a small city/town you may be able to wait a day or two. But you can always order it from this website and just wait a week.

I haven't heard of any Best Buys taking pre-orders, and I would assume that they will be getting quite a few packages (due to them having the demos). So that is also a good place to check, especially since most don't open until later in the morning (if the other places fail).

So I preordered from Amazon.com the other day and it said: "PURCHASE LIMIT: In an effort to provide as many customers as possible with the opportunity to purchase Rock Band, we are limiting the number of Rock Band customers can purchase. Hey mohkilla, I can't believe you didn't get a preorder in. I know you have been on the same page as I have about the music as well as other topics, but I still put in a preorder anyways. I don't think all gamestops have stopped taking them though. I'd look around for smaller ones near you. Good luck and hopefully I'll see you on live.

Can you squeeze in a preorder for the game alone, if not the bundle? You can always use your existing guitar (or GH3tar), pick up a USB microphone at Circuit City and use that, then buy the drums separately when they're released next year.

i actually want the bundle and i asked my cousin to get me a copy reserved from his friend that works at a gamestop. so if his friend reserves one for him then im set, im hoping he will..hell let me know tomorrow ! wish me luck !

I just got my preorder in yesterday on EB games website. It didn't say anything about there being a delay with the initial shipment however I'm fully preparing myself to NOT receive it anywhere close to the release date.
