Totally true. But, wouldn't the irony of the "Guitar Hero" episode being directly modeled on the Behind-The-Music trajectory of stereotypical rock band be worth something?

Sprint advertises that it has "Live" Comedy Central on its Sprint TV, but the South Park episode it showed was definately from 2004. Sucks sometimes not having cable. :(

Well they did play "I Wanna Be Sedated" which was in the first Guitar Hero, but I think that was the only song out of the first one.

It was funny they referenced the Primus song "John the Fisherman" since they did the song for the opening theme for the first 9 seasons and then they changed to another song by Les Claypool and one of his side projects.

I confess I rarely watch South Park, but a few of my friends love it. I've seen some episodes here and there, and had a few laughs, but I didn't find tonight's episode very funny at all. Even the "That Thing You Do" reference wasn't funny.

I had high hopes for this episode. Not as funny as i was expecting. Loved the part when Stans dad plays Carry on our Wayward Son on a "real" guitar and was totally shot down. Also when Tad is playing Jordan at the restaurant without the game and everyone starts clapping along. Oh and when Travolta can't get Tom Cruise out of the closet........wait wrong episode.

I'm personally not a fan of south park, but this has to be a troll comment. Its contents are proven false simply by south parks popularity, lasting appeal and continued seasons. The creators obviously are talented or they wouldn't have gotten past a couple seasons.

Thats funny because I've been watching South Park since Season 1 and have seen every episode.
