Me and my Wife are going to play BWT together hopefully me on drums and her on guitar. My question is our work schedules are different I am off mostly during the week and she is off on weekends. So is it possible that if I wanted to play BWT I could use the drums and then use the vocals at the same time? Is anyone going to try to either play the drums and guitar and sing at the same time?

Yes it is possible, you will just have to create two different characters . I'm also going to pick up a mic stand so I can sing and play guitar at the same time.

Yes, singing and playing would count as two players.

That is cool, so If I make a character that is a drummer and my wife has a character that is a guitar player, will it let me sub in and out a character that is a singer?

You need to designate one character as the "leader", which doesn't change and is always present -- but the other 3 can be anyone and can be swapped out at any time. In your case pick either your drummer or your vocalist to be the leader, depending on which you want to always have active.

Remember, characters are tied to their role as vocalist, guitarist (bass or lead), or drummer. You can't make your vocalist play drums.

Actually, I'm not even sure that you designate the character as the leader.

You might assign a leader based on Gamertag (or PSN user), which would certainly make sense for leaderboard purposes.

If that's the case, you aren't tied down to an instrument because a single user can select one of multiple characters.
