Apparently, according to posters on the GH Forums, the Foo Fighters and Velvet Revolver 3 song sets are up fro purchase. Apparently they are 1000 points for both from what I gather. So I guess 500 points per 3 song set. I haven't checked it out myself, I wont have time until after class.

I think they're fun to play and challenging. The Pretender and All My Life were tough, but I know I could double my current scores with a few more play throughs. I think they did a great job.

The good news: the boss battles are a free download. I haven't totally lost faith in Activision yet!

Of course, you're still screwed if you bought it for PS2...

The same most likely goes for those of us who have it on the Wii. Hopefully, they'll figure out how to make DLC available for it.

Doesn't bother me too much since I'll be getting a 360 & RB by the end of the year and the RB DLC will be better.

I will be downloading these shortly, I'm very glad the boss battles are free! I'm looking forward to rocking out to some Foo Fighters. What a perfect day to end all my work, now I can relax with some GH III

We'll have to agree to disagree my friend, my fingers hurt like hell after playing just the 3 songs. The Pretender was ok albeit a little boring

Thats sweet but where? I'm not seeing them in downloads or bonus.

They're not out yet. Apparently it was easier for them to get new songs into the game, than songs that are already in the game ;)

You know what's awesome?

Those songs are available on the european marketplace as well, although the game doesn't come out here until Nov. 23th.

That actually a great sign. Maybe HMx does that too and releases the Content everywhere. That would be so nice!! Please do that HMX!! (Damn, I know you're not reading this...)

Well, but maybe it's because GH3 is only a few weeks away here, Rockband is TBA...

BTW, All My Life is a great song, would like it for Rockband too!

They're also available in Japan on the 360,didn't check on PS3.

I got the VR one. She Bulids Quick Machines is great,Slither is ok and I haven't played Messages yet.

Ya know they used to have these things called CD singles that only had 3-5 songs on them and were anywhere from $3.99 to $12.99 so looking at it like that this isn't so bad.

1000 points for $12.50+ tax. that is 6 songs about $2.10 a song for only two instruments. I am scared to see what Rock Band's DLC is going to cost!

I wouldn't say much more if any increase at all.

They only have to map out 2 more instruments. The artist/label aren't going to get more because both songs include all the instruments playing. And with all the backlash on the price of GH DLC, I really don't think HMX wants to go higher. But if they have to it will be very, very, small.

I will only be downloading the boss battles because they are free. All my money is going towards RB DLC.

I am a huge Foo Fighters fan and the 3 songs for GH3 really do suck. I am very disapointed. I enjoyed the VR songs though. But all in all, just save your money. Unless you are a huge fan of the genre/series, like i am, i wouldnt justify purchasing it.

I agree with the charts being complete BS.

The VR pack is ******ed. Slither and She Builds Quick Machines isn't even fun to play on expert! And I really like those songs and was looking forward to them. Messages is kind of a sad slow song that makes ya want to cry. Not bad.

I think this might be the last packs I buy for Guitar Hero III. With Rock Band right on the horizon. I know they couldn't screw up the charts for the Sabbath and Police packs.
