ok Ive played the Demo twice now. and from what i saw when others were singing. the vocal tracks are still full volume and clashes with the singer. I see the same with online videos of bands playing. is there going to be a way to turn down the volume of the vocals to just here the singing player.

You can adjust the volume of the player and the vocal track, so you can hear just the player, just the singer, or both.

The clash may be annoying for you, but it's helpful to hear the original while you're singing. Plus the singers in almost all the videos are awful.

True. just making sure.

Im sure hearing it a few times is greate for learning but for a true singing experience you dont want to be trying to sing over the track.

I would recommend going and buying American Idol (The best Karaoke Revolution game). It will give you a great idea on how things are going to work. Not to mention having a lot of fun in the process.

Also you'll get an extra mic for RB!

The demo probably just doesn't allow you to go into Options is why.

Don't the trigger and bumper buttons adjust vocal volume? Since the demo doesn't have instructions, people likely don't know to take advantage of this feature.

News to me. I never tried the mic because it hasn't been hooked up. On the Rock Band Tour the original vocals were turned way down. I thought it was an in-game feature to adjust in the Sound Options or something. That's convenient though if it's right on the controller.

The demo does allow you to go into the options menu. I turned off the vocals on PARANOID the other day.

Can you turn down the original vocals on songs even when no one is playing the vocal part?

I've heard you can adjust all that stuff on the fly. You use the right and left on the directional pad to choose the volume of the original vocal, or the volume of the mic itself, and up and down to make the volume go higher or lower.
