Thank you all! I will be studying photography and am aiming to get a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography.

For real, no one knows how eager I was to get into this college. I was scared for the longest time because my ACT scores were bad enough to make a 3 year old cry. I think I sealed the deal though when I sent them my portfolio. Now I just have to focus on passing all my classes here at the community college so I can get my AA.

Colleges are starting to lean away from having so much weight be on standardized testing scores because some people don't test well.

Always great, that feeling when you get accepted to the college you were hoping for. That great sigh of relief when you can stop wondering if you're good enough to get in. I had to go through the same earlier this year with apply to graduate schools.

I almost went there... But I decided it was too expensive and went to Full Sail instead. A buddy of mine went there on a baseball scholarship. It's an awesome school I hear. Congrats!

Im going to the Savannah campus. My brother lives just right outside of downtown Savannah, so I will be staying with him either till I can get a job and stay at a place of my own or something. I just dont really want to stay in campus housing...thats not my thing...

And Eastwood: Yes Savannah is an amazingly beautiful city. If I cant get a good picture in Savannah then I dont need to be a photographer. St. Patrick's day there is going to be crazy! And Im going to be 21! (not this year, next year), Plus, Savannah's falls and winters are the sh*t!

Well depending on how long your are here in Savannah you may or maynot continue to think that. St. Pattys day of course is the big week. SCAD people get that week off because... well frankly its a huge party and no one would be in class. But St. Pattys here is so tamed down from what it was say just 5 years ago.

Also there is no campus for SCAD. Down town is the campus. There are SCAD buildings all over the place so you'll be learning downtown real well. Also if you are indeed just outside of downtown keep your doors locked at all times.

Sure Savannah is pretty and its all kinds of photogenic but people won't think twice about stealing your stuff. The cops here are worthless here to by the way.
