This game needs more "emo" music

Well personally I hated the music on Guitar Hero and Guitar Hero 2, there was a song by My Chemical Romance that I liked on the Xbox 360 version of Guitar Hero 2 though.
so heres some songs I think would be good for Rock Band

1.) Saturday - Fall Out Boy
this is an awesome song really catchy has some screaming in it for the people who "need" it to enjoy a song

2.) Grand Theft Autumn - Fall Out Boy
again a really catchy song with some nice guitar

3.) My Heart Your Hands - From First To Last
This song is awesome is has some cool guitars and quite a bit of screaming

4.) Thank you For The Venom - My Chemical Romance
MCR at their best

5.) Take it Way - The Used
an awesome song by the used

6.) I'm a Fake - The Used
another awesome song by the Used

7.) Sending Postcards From a Planecrash (wish you were here) - Fall Out Boy
My favorite song of all time by my favorite band I would be really happy if this was on there

8.) In Fate's Hands - Red Jumpsuit Apparatus

well thats just a few of the songs I would like on Rock Band pretty much anything by Fall Out Boy or From First to Last would be awesome. and I know people are gunna say it needs more metal but not all of us stay home all day and dream of killing an innocent kittin for the hell of it.

The Used aren't too bad. Fall Out Boy are. I can respect what bands like Fall Out Boy do, ie, make music that appeals to the masses and draws in an audience (usually younger people) to a genre they might not be familiar with. But just personally I would be disappointed if many bands like them making it in, it would seem like a bit of sell-out on Harmonix part. I hope MTV isn't pushing them to use popular bands just because they are popular.

Don't forget about the downloadable content though. It go no beef with bands like Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance appearing later on as optional tracks.

My chemical Romance on Xbox360 was the worst song on the list because there wasn't any rhythm to the song, always the same notes, quite boring indeed.

Most people who play the game want to get a rush from playing catchy songs, not fall asleep while waiting for the notes to change.

Fall out Boy aren't a band. They're businessmen, out to make money. These bands churn out crappy music and make money off the idiots that listen to them.

Grand Theft Autumn is, in all honesty, not too bad of a song. One of the 3 I can stand by Fall Out Boy.

If you're gunna do FFTL, I'd say make it either Ride the Wings of Pestilence, or something off Heroine(my vote goes for either Mothersound, The Levy, or The Crows are Coming for Us), as the song are Heroine are more unorthodox and interesting than anything on their earlier releases.

The only way I'd like to play MCR is if something was used off Your Brought Me Your Bullets, or The Black Parade. The stuff on 3 Cheers wouldn't be interesting for anyone except the singer.

The Used have some pretty kick ass songs, Take It Away and I'm a Fake would be great for easier songs on the game. I'd also suggest Pretty Handsome Awkward(only worthwhile song on their new cd), Let it Bleed, Maybe Memories, and A Box Full of Sharp Objects.

As for Red Jumpsuit, I don't really care, they're catchy, but nothing special.

I think a good song for fall out boy would be ´´reiventing the wheel to run myself over´´its a enjoyable song for all instruments,and its pretty good over all.Now for the used,i have to say take it away,cuz its pretty challenging over all to,not a very fast song,but a good guitar riff and drums are pretty average i guess,bass,i have to say that its very much the same as the guitar...i would preffer to have some screamo though...but the emo rock song that i say should be in is Miss murder by AFI,it has great bass,average guitar,good challenging vocals and the drums should be fun!

Not to be a dick, but AFI have never been emo. They get tied to that scene because of their appearance, lyrics, and their link to the punk genre(they started as a hardcore punk band). So I guess, they kinda just get lumped into that genre, they're more a combination of various degrees of synthpop, hardcore, alternative rock, and goth rock.

And as for AFI songs, Miss Murder(while I love the song), is prolly one of their simplest songs. I'd suggest something more along the lines of Dancing Through Sunday, Rabbits are Roadkill, Girls Not Grey, The Leaving Song pt.2, Days of the Phoenix, Summer Shudder, or Kill Caustic.

None of this music is emo, it is pop, pop-rock, and pop-punk dumbtard. Listen to REAL pop-punk(and melodic hardcore) like Set Your Goals, Lifetime, Saves The Day, Daggermouth, CIV, Blink-182, New Found Glory, Alkaline Trio, The Movielife, The Get Up Kids, Say Anything, Brand New, and Descendents. That should start you off.

Wow. Why are most of you so narrow-minded? I mean, just because you don't like Fall Out Boy (which is fair enough, everyone's entitled to an opinion), that doesn't make them a pile of crap. And do you really think that the people who are making this game only want to sell it to people with incredibly limited music taste and apparently want to stand in front of their console screaming all day? Because I reckon they'll want to sell it to anyone they can, and I don't think they'll care if the person is a fake or poser or whatever you're attempting to label anyone who actually likes a band that's become popular. Besides, I'm sure 'evilcow' wasn't suggesting that there should only be Fall Out Boy songs, just a couple.

Now, I don't have a real problem with metal bands, but nor do I have a problem with Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance, and I think there should be some variety so that more people can enjoy the game.

I have to say that if the only song you liked in the guitar hero franchise to date was My Chemical Romance's Dead! then you shouldn't be on this forum trying to make setlists! I do agree there should be one Fall Out Boy song just because the lyrics are good on some of their new stuff and it will draw a more diverse crowd for the game which is always good. I love the music choices in both GH's and I think an Emo GH would bomb! as would an Emo Rock Band.

Emo is such a broad term that I hate hearing is used when in regards to a genre of music. You compare two bands that are considered "emo" and they may have completely different styles. I don't think it would be much of an issue to have a song from one of these bands on Rock Band if it was a song that has enough musical variety to make it fun to play.

Fall out Boy aren't a band. They're businessmen, out to make money. These bands churn out crappy music and make money off the idiots that listen to them.

Yeah srsly, the singer knows what he's doing. From some interview he seemed like he just was in it to make money and he knew his music sucked, lol.

I know everyone is bashing this guy but at least he chose old Fall Out Boy songs which aren't as crappy as their new stuff.
