Don't worry you made an excellent choice for your first concert. Linkin Park is not only my favorite band, but like I said they are the best I have ever seen live. I am ready to see them again next year. I went to Projekt Revolution as well, Street Drum Corps is a band of 3 drummers. They opened before Linkin Park came on, and they played in the middle of Bleed It Out. I would also recommend buying the live audio recording of Linkin Park at the venue. I paid $15 for it, well worth the money. Have an awesome time!

I've gone to too many shows to list here. Last year I counted and I went to 60+ concerts in one year. That's more than one a week. My last show was The Faint two days ago. I was supposed to see Sam Sparro today but it got cancelled. Next show is Cafe Tacuba (Mexican rock band) later this month. I also have tix to see The Black Keys, Zoe (another band from MX) and The Hives/Eagles of Death Metal.
Concerts are my crack cocaine, pretty much.

Somewhere Back In Time tour: Iron Maiden(skipped the opening act 'cause I had to pick up my friends)
Stronger Than Hell Tour: Demon Hunter, Living Sacrifice, Advent, Oh Sleeper, and The Famine
Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival: Suicide Silence, The Destro, Walls of Jericho, Red Chord, Five Finger Death Punch, Mastodon, Underoath, Dragonforce(I wanted to see if the bad rumors were true, and they were), Disturbed, and Slipknot. I didn't see Airbourne, 36 Crazyfists, or Black Tide because I didn't want to, and I didn't see Machine Head because I was watching Mastodon.
And, of course, if I can find the redeemable ticket from Nostradamus, I should be going to Metal Masters, with Judas Priest, Motorhead, Heaven and Hell, and TESTAMEEEEENT.

I paid $15 for it, well worth the money. Have an awesome time!
Dude that show was freakin AMAZING!! Spent the first few hours of it waiting in line to play Rock Band since they had a setup there and after that went to the Revolution Stage area to see 10 Years finish up there show, I didn't see all of there songs but they sounded pretty awesome. Watched most of Atreyu, wasn't much of a fan of them before but after hearing them live they were pretty sweet as well. Might have to pick up some of there cd's now. After that went to the main stage. Street Drum Corps were pretty good, so was Ashes Divide. I guess Busta Rhymes was supposed to be there but didn't show up so they had to extend The Bravery and Chris Cornell which I didn't have a problem with.
The Bravery were pretty good, I might download a few of there songs. Chris Cornell was AMAZING! Other then Linkin Park he had the best reaction from the crowed. Everyone was standing and singing along to his songs. Especially Black Hole Sun. I didn't think it would get any better but Linkin Park totally proved me wrong. Anyone who says that Linkin Park sucks live either A. Is a complete idiot, B. Has never seen them live and are just hating on them or C. Both. I don't know who I can see to top Linkin Park, I know this was my first concert but it was just that f'ing good. Maybe I'll go see Muse next. I hear they're pretty awesome live.

I know I'm missing a few but I will say this, Vai/Tool/Smashing pumpkins all put on some of the best shows I have seen. I couldn't pick a fav show out of those 3. The worst band I've ever seen opened for tool, they were the gaping lotus experience, or maybe locust. I think they got boo'd offstage.

Happy to hear that you had an excellent time! I would recommend An honest mistake, time won't let me go, angelina, and believe by The Bravery. Chris Cornell was crowd surfing while singing Black Hole Sun at the show I went to, it was crazy! During Chris Cornell's performance of Gone Hungry Chester came out and sang the second verse, then when Linkin Park performed Crawling they started out with the Mike Shinoda rapping the first verse of Hands Held high then right after LP performed Crawling, and Chris Cornell came out and sang the second verse of Crawling. Busta Rhymes was kicked off the tour after the show we went to for getting into an altercation with one of the other bands. I heard Muse is awesome live as well. Which console do you have Rock Band for? If you have it for XBOX 360, my Gamertag is Saint Francesco, send me a friend request.
