I don't think it's fair that PC users get the shaft every year on some of these good titles. PS3 and Xbox 360, not to mention possible PS2 and Wii release.

With Guitar Hero 3 release on the PC on the 13th, why can't we get Rock Band?

It just seems like RB belongs in a living room (or wherever your TV is), because it requires a lot more space than even Guitar Hero. Sitting in front of your PC playing guitar is one thing, but setting up a whole drum set is a different story.

Well.... ..yeah, however. Two things.
1. This day and age, PCs can connect to TVs with Ease. I know my PC can connect to my TV in about 2 or 3 ways.

2. Rarely is the PC in an area with no room.

.... at the same time though, I understand what your saying.

also I think it would be hard to read if you have a singer, drummer, lead guitar, and bass guitar all at the same time.but yeah there is some way to connect your computer to the tv

Personally besides MMO's I think PC gaming is on the out. I used to be a devout PC gamer, but the price of a next gen console vs a new computer every 4 years changed my opinion.

How many games have you played on your pc you would call party games. PC are very solo oriented, rock band and most party games are multi-person oriented so that alone rules out the PC.

HMX has already stated that it wouldnt be feasible (what they really mean is profitable) to make it on PC.

The only reason for me to get RB on PC is if you could upload your own songs and make customized note charts for any song you want. That would be awesome!

While I wouldn't rule it out entirely, I would say that Rock Band isn't coming to the PC for the same reason that Guitar Hero 3 doesn't have Downloadable Content on the PC.

The content providers (labels, etc) are frightened of piracy and do not want downloadable content on the PC. The Guitar Hero business model is now that of Tony Hawk, a new game every 12 to 18 months. This works very well with the PC, even with no DLC.

The Rock Band business model is that of a platform. This epic delivery that lands on November 20th will be the foundation on which a constant stream of downloadable content will build. With no DLC on the computer, Rock Band just isn't that great of a fit.

And, as much as I love PC gaming. (Trust me, I really do love PC gaming (http://www.quakecon.org/staff.php).) Rock Band and Guitar Hero are both best experience in a big room on a big TV with as many friends as possible.
