The 90's music era was one of the best music decades ever.
I was listening to a CD I burned a while back with some of my favorite 90's, early 2000's Alternative/Rock. Some of you might not agree with every song here & some of you might love my list. But I think these songs would make some good music for this game.
(These are only some I can think of right now)
One Headlight - The Wallflowers
The Way - Fast Ball
Good - Better Than Ezra
1979 - Smashing Pumpkins (though I would prefer entire albums)
The Sweater Song - Weezer
Looser - Beck
Possum Kingdom - The Toadies
Cannonball - The Breeders
What's Up - Four Non Blondes
Lady - Lenny Kravitz
Knockin' On Heaven's Door - Guns N' Roses
Cherry Lips - Garbage
Like A Stone - Audioslave
Jeremy - Pearl Jam
Which other songs can you think of? Any song on my list you strongly agree/disagree with?

Actually Like A Stone was released in 2002. Audioslaves Self-Titled Album was released in 2002.

Actually I like that list quite a bit. Loser by Beck would be hilarious on the mic. I think I'd switch out Jeremy for Even Flow by Pearl Jam though. Anything by (pre '00) GNR is a welcome addition. I'm still holding out hope for Shackler's Revenge to be good.

Edit: I completely forgot to add my own recommendations for a list.
Money Talks - AC/DC
Cowboys from Hell - Pantera
You Could Be Mine - Guns 'n Roses
Mama I'm Coming Home - Ozzy Osbourne
Even Flow - Pearl Jam
Losing My Religion - REM
Would? - Alice in Chains
Regret - New Order
Zombie - Cranberries
Peaches - The Presidents of the United States
1979 - Smashing Pumpkins
Machine Head - Bush
King Nothing - Metallica
Trippin' on a Hole in a Paper Heart - Stone Temple Pilots
I'm Your Boogie Man - White Zombie
Slide - Goo Goo Dolls
Heavy - Collective Soul
Pardon Me - Incubus
Blue Monday - Orgy
Californication - Red Hot Chili Peppers

Jeremy, Knockin' On Heaven's Door, Like a Stone (not 90's), Possum Kingdom, Loser, and 1979 would be great.

Remember guys, that's why I said 90's, early 2000's. So I can get away with throwing "Like A Stone" in there :). Anyone else?

Agreed, would love this for full album download, but Harmonix seems to hate the 90s. Hardly any DLC or on disc content from the 90s.
3eb had like 6 radio hits from that album alone, and the three last songs on the disc which were never relased for radio airplay are regarded by many fans as being the best on the disc. Motorcycle Drive By is incredible. If you haven't heard it go youtube it.
However, they appear to be correcting this based on the RB2 setlist. Way more 90s and 80s representation. Now they just need to carry this vision through to DLC.

Speaking of 90's altrock, HMX putting "You Oughtta Know" on RB2 is awesome. The girls will love singing that. Too bad the best part will prolly be edited out :)

I'd like some of the early 2000's bands like Godsmack.

A slightly different list to the usual 90's suspects for the sake of diversity:
My Bloody Valentine - "Only Shallow"
James - "Laid"
Ash - "Girl From Mars"
Suede - "Animal Nitrate"
Catherine Wheel - "Crank"
Social Distortion - "When The Angels Sing"
Local H - "All The Kids Are Right"
Afghan Whigs - "Honky's Ladder"
Lucious Jackson - "Ladyfingers"
Stereophonics - "Pick A Part That's New"
Bloodhound Gang - "Fire Water Burn"
Lush - "Ladykillers"
Manic Street Preachers - "Motorcycle Emptiness"
Ride - "Twisterella"
