These are not songs that I don't necessarily want to be in this game, but songs that I think fit in perfectly with the "scheme" of the game. All songs are four dimensional (drums, lead, bass and vocals).
Billy Squier-The Stroke
This song would be perfect as an early stage song. It's easy on both guitar, drums and vocals. The song would be perfect to get us used to how to use the drums. It's short and sweet and is a great "introduction" song.
Rush-Working Man
Catchy riff, challenging drum parts, a nice bassline, has a couple of sweet guitar solo's and microphone shattering vocals. It also has a nice couple of bass solo's to boot. It's a great band performance and seems like it was almost made for this game. The only downside is it's 7 minutes long, but that's not a big deal. This song would be challenging on all 4 elements.
MC5-Kick Out the Jams
This is another great band performance. It has a catchy riff that's fun to play to, and has great vocals. Moderate drums and bass make it a fun song to play.
Deep Purple-Highway Star
Another song that has it all. One of the best guitar solo's, really cool drum parts, and awesome yet challenging vocals. I think this is one of the best performances ever and NEEDS to be in this game. I think it would the most fun song to play by far.
Blue Oyster Cult-Burnin' For You
This song has really, really cool guitar riffs and a sweet bassline, not to mention a nice guitar solo in the middle. The drums for this song are pretty easy but still fun to play. Definitely a classic that needs to be in this game.
Dire Straits-Sultans of Swing
This song is amaziing on guitar and bass, and fun drums to play along with. The vocals would be great to sing along to while playing guitar (listen to the song and you'll know why). The blistering solo's would be a blast to play as well.
Jesus Christ Pose-Soundgarden
A Chris Cornell song on this game should be mandatory. The song has a really cool begining with the guitar and bass parts. The drums would be really challenging, as would the vocals since it's well, Chris Cornell. The song is pretty fast on the guitar and bass end, so it would be a very challenging song on all 4 sides.
Tommy the Cat-Primus
All the bass players out would probably die to be able to play this song. The lead guitar part is pretty cool as well, and has a unique solo. Vocals would be a walk in the park since it's pretty much just talking, but parts could actually be tough. Drums would a blast to play also. Very upbeat drum part. I think this would be the best possible song to play on bass. The fun factor is incredible, and for once the bass players can take complete center stage.
Give it Away-Red Hot Chili Peppers
a Flea tune is needed as well. I think out of all the RHCP songs Rock Band could have, Give it Away blends bass, lead and drum parts the best. All 3 parts would be challenging and fun to play. Give it Away offers everything.
Molly Hatchet- Flirtin' With Disaster
A classic that needs to be in this game. Probably one of the best southern rock tunes. It has a great guitar riff all the way through, and has some nice sing-along and powerful vocals. The guitar solo's in this game would offer a great challenge also. The rythm or bass parts would be fun to play as well, and the drum part is one of the more fun drum performances you could play.
