I thought you just got points based on how many hits you manage (rather like taiko no tatsujin...), so for point scoring purposes it kinda is?

Negatory. Fills are a fixed score, if you hit one note or eleventy billion. The ending freeform has a cap at the rate of score increase, so being ultra spazzy isn't necessary.

AGH! I'm so glad OK GO got put in Rock Band.. I can't wait to play this song in game.. I hope they release soem more of OK GO's work through DLC..

quoted for truth. When I personally play drum fills I actually try to make it at least kind of sound like music. Then again what more can we expect form the ignorant sluts aka the worst rock band band in the universe. I Up should put up more vids so we can see how Rock Band is supposed to be played

Exactly, someone needs to tell IGN that the only correct way to play drum fill is to just hit the cymbal over and over as fast as you can until the fill is over.
