What's wrong with you Harmonix?
(please note i mean no disrespect to harmonix).
But seriously, how the **** do you release a Roadrunner records pack and not include King Diamond? It's INSULTING. Replace Airbourne or Killswitch Engage with King Diamond, and the pack is great. DevilDriver will be fun, as will Dream Theater and Machine head, but it's just missing king diamond.
And king diamond is literally the perfect rock band band.
Think about it...
anyone who's played "Devils Child" knows how much fun that one falsetto part is...you know, after the solo (i think). No picture that but almost the whole song. AWESOME.
Mickey Dee kicks ass at drums.
ANDY LaROQUE! ANY song would be the best guitar song ever released on Rock Band, but The Accusation Chair, Charon, or Sleepless Nights especialy. His solos are INSANITY.
Seriously, if you intend to release a roadrunner 6 pack #2...put king diamond in there.
Better yet, call it the "King Diamond 6 Pack (AKA Roadrunner 6 Pack #2)"

Me and my friend were talking about this. It would be so awesome to get some King Diamond or Mercyful Fate. Welcome Home anyone? I bet it would be easier to get King Diamonds stuff over Mercyful Fate's though since the masters would be cleaner and stuff.

Ya i would much rather have king diamond over Fate anyway, i think (even though it's pretty much the same band) king diamond is better. Their songs are much better.
I think Welcome Home would be a bad choice. Good tune, but it's too generic as a king diamond song. I'd say something like The Accusation Chair or Charon, Abigail or Tea would be fun as hell. But really anything off of Them.

As would I, although it would be some what fun to play as DLC.

The drum intro is pretty cool, as is the rest of the song.

I'm all for King Diamond and his uncanny vocal range. I think having songs from King Diamond would put vocals on a whole other level.

As soon as I saw Roadrunner in the title, I was sure I'd see either a King Diamond or a Mercyful Fate song. Huge surprise when I saw neither.

Abigail, no question. Also, pick up Melissa or Don't Break the Oath by Mercyful Fate.

I haven't listened to Melissa in years. Man, that was a good album.

I listen to it almost daily. It starts with me just wanting to listen to Evil, one of my favorite metal songs, and then I let the album play because of how awesome it is in general.

Instant fail trying to sing that one haha. I'm much prefer Mercyful Fate's Melissa or Don't Break the Oath. Abigail for sure for your first King Diamond.

I wish they could put the Melissa album up for DLC, but alas Dark Funeral would cause a stir. I doubt more religious singers would want to sing "Oh hail Satan, yes hail Satan!" despite the fact that in context it isn't King Diamond telling you to praise Satan, but demons hailing their lord. Basically, the lyrics are really the equivalent to a king being praised by his subjects in a story, not you praising the king.

Not to mention King Diamond actually is a Satanist and member of the Church of Satan. Might be a tough sell for RB.

Well yes, but I don't view any of his songs I know of to truly be Satanic. Satanism shows up a lot, but never in a religious/religious promotion context. Besides, King Diamond isn't a deistic Satanist.
Then again, The Oath is pretty Satan-y and Anti-Christian.

True and really only relevant to the first two Mercyful Fate records the King Diamond records are more concept story telling albums.
He actually explains his views pretty well in this interview:

Exactly. I wonder, though, if they would find other objectionable material. Evil references necrophilia after all, haha.

Freaking awesome. Dallas sucks for getting OzzFest if they were going to have it somewhere hot and nasty out they should have had it here in Phoenix! Mayhem Fest was bad enough a couple weeks ago. It was 112 degrees when we got there about 3 in the afternoon.

If i had to suggest ONE cd, i would suggest the King Diamond Best Of CD, because you get a taste of everything. You get Them, Abigail, Consipiracy, etc. GREAT CD, my guitar teacher gave it to me...

Abigail's always solid, though my personal favorite's conspiracy (only 'cause of Sleepless Nights, though. Song rocks my ****.)
Come on Harmonix! MOAR DIAMOND!
List of songs that would be great to play, in no specific order:
Neverending Hill
Black Horsemen
Abigail
Tea
No Presents For Christmas
At the Graves
Black Horsemen
Sleepless Nights (One of the best guitar solos evar imo)
1642 Imprisonment
Magic
Darkness
Black Horsemen
I Am (the ending to this song would be awesome for vocals. DIE DIE DIE, DIEDIEDIE, DIEEEEEEE!)
The 7th Day of July 1777
Heads on the Wall
Just a Shadow
Black Horsemen
;)

Did you forget Black Horsemen, Dastard? Haha. Epic finale to an epic album.
Also, please use my official archived thread that I posted a long time ago, because I like getting credit for starting the original King Diamond thread, haha.
