I love Weezer's older stuff and the fact that Buddy Holly is going to be downloadable is awesome in my opinion.

I think the coolest song to play by Weezer in Rock Band would be Only in Dreams. Think about it, that crazy build up with all the instruments at the end... oh, only in dreams of DLC please!

I do hope and pray for some El Sorcho, Only in Dreams, and Sweater Song DLC in the future though.

I think I've played say it ain't so in the demo on drums and guitar more than any other song and I love it!

Oh, god, Weezer. How I loathe them. How I crave them.

It all stems from college. Someone in a room two doors down from me was practicing acoustic guitar, and the ONLY songs he ever played were "Say It Ain't So", "Pink Triangle", and Dave Matthews Band "So Much To Say". Over and over. All day and all night. It drove me clinically insane to the point where I wanted to garrote him with a guitar string.

And yet... now, I can't hear those songs without getting nostalgic for my college days. Gah. So, I do enjoy them, just in a cringingly sickeningly sweet sort of way.

Yea, Weezer Blue album is awesome, Buddy Holly is a great song to sing along to, easy too, its going to be fun to play this one. Say It Ain't So is another great one, they should have just released the Blue Album as one of the full downloadable albums. I would want to play ONly In Dreams soo bad!

I love Weezer and they have a ton f stuff that could be great. Tired of Sex, Dope Nose, Across the Sea, No one Else, Only in Dreams (sorry for the singer on this one though), the Good Life, and Burnt Jamb are all great for their own reasons. I would buy their first 3 albums and portions of the others. I am not saying that every song on them would be great but if there is an album bundle deal the majority are good enough to buy it all for. Sweater Song is an ok song but I can't imagine it being that fun to play for instance but the Blue album is good enough to take it as a part of a whole.

I've been wanting Weezer ever since GH came out, and now I can only hope like so many others they release the Blue Album ASAP.

Surf Wax America is by far my favorite song from that record, but honestly that whole album is superb, and I can't wait to play the entire album as a setlist.

Official Xbox Magazine listed a bunch of DLC not previously announced and one of the single song downloads happened to be Buddy Holly.

ive been pitching the blue album since i joined this site, but with two songs already available, how would they price the album as DLC if they do indeed manage to get the rights for the rest of the songs? if i recall correctly, theres only 8 other songs (10 total).
i know pricing hasnt been revealed, but you would think albums will be cheaper than single tracks. so do you wait on buddy holly? i wont wait, but kinda weird if songs end up duplicating.

I honestly never gave a crap about Weezer and Say It Ain't So and GH's My Name is Jonas suck after the second listen.

I have the same gripe for Nirvana and The Police. I'd love to proven wrong (granted I haven't heard much Weezer or Nirvana as I generally avoid them like witchcraft) and find a song I like but for the most part they blow.

But then again I said the same for Deep Purple and Soundgarden until I heard Black Hole Sun and Deep Purple just grew on me (but Smoke On the Water still sucks).
