Being that I sold my GH 2 for Xbox yesterday and used the money to reserve my copy of RB...It better be!

That said, the girl at Gamestop told me that the complete box comes with 2 guitars, mic, drums... Isn't it only one guitar? Or can this even be confirmed yet.

I believe they are aiming for a release this holiday season. Late November-ish is the word on the street but nothing overly official on dates yet.

ya it was in usa today they said the game is Expected in stores for the year-end holidays, the Electronic Arts game (no price set) for the Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3 will be played with four instrument-based video game controllers: two guitars (lead and bass), a drum kit and a microphone.

The real test is whether it stays fun six months from now.

I've done a lot of software QA'ing at my current job. The repetition and detailed-nature of software testing can really grind on you. For example, I had to bang through a massive amount of test conditions for our web app. When it was said and done a month later, the last thing I wanted to see in life was an Internet Explorer window.

If Rock Band has the kind of staying power where it's still a joy after hundreds of man-hours of QA, that's a winner two fold over. First, you have a great job. Second, you have a smash hit release on your hands.

Well , Guitar Hero 1/2 Were A lot of Fun ,I always played with friends were over , so with rockband It will be x10 better since there are more instruments.
