Who is tired of hearing these?

I keep noticing two types of posts that are really starting to grate on me.

Example 1: Omigod, muzak is only teh goodz if it has growling, pig squeals and double bass-ah!!! I need more meshuggah, moar dimmu borgir, moar lamb of god, trivium, killswitch engage, despised icon, i killed the prom queen, between the buried and me, through the eyes of the dead, after the burial, dillinger escape plan, [INSERT GENERIC METALCORE BAND THAT SOUNDS EXACTLY LIKE EVERY OTHER METALCORE BAND] in Rock Band!!! FTW!!

Okay, a few things. Heavy Metal/Metalcore/Death Metal/Deathcore/Grindcore are all FRINGE genres. Not enough people listen to this kind of "music" to justify it being a staple of the game's setlist. In addition to this, most mainstream metal bands (slipknot, trivium, shadow's fall) are the WORST ONES. Oh yeah, and I doubt people will want to sing "Breeeeeeee breeee breee bree GROOOOWWWWWWWL" for 5 straight minutes...that and there's NO DOUBLE BASS PEDAL FOR THE DRUMS, SO THE SONGS ARE AUTOMATICALLY IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE GAME.

Example 2: Omigod every song on Rock Band sucks! I havent herd of any of these bands luklz! who is "teh who?" chea right lolroflmao!

Alright so you don't like any of the songs on Rock Band? Just delete your account here and DON'T BUY THE GAME. Vote with your dollar, or stop complaining.

Well, unfortunately recommendation forums are particularly conducive to repeat topics. Not much you can really do about it, other than try to ignore it.

I'm curious if you have the same feelings about some people asking for a country version of the game? Not critiquing you, just curious.

I myself would love to see a country version, but I'm not holding out for it. I'm thinking along the same path as you as far as your "fringe" argument goes. I don't think there would be a big enough following to validate the development of such a version. That, and a good number of country songs use fiddles (or violins for you slickers :) ) and piano, so the amount of choice songs would be limited. I would argue, however, that us country fans could have some DLC songs. Artists like Brad Paisley, Lee Roy Parnell, and Rascal Flatts have some really good songs with great guitar parts and solos. Wuddaya think?

I can't help but chuckle when I think about my wife seeing that on the screen and asking what the hell that is... then her trying to do it ;-P

1.)That's your opinion and an opinion doesn't get you **** because everyone has one. There are people who like that kind of music (not me) and would like o see it on the game. Maybe some people would like to sing breeeeeeeee breeee brreeee breee growl and what not. Do you think the singers of those metal bands don't want to do that all day? They obviously do.

2.)Couldn't agree with you more. Everyone is saying that they don't know these songs, which I actually find hard to believe. I think some of them are saying this to insult the bands. For those who know and criticize the songs are just stupid. The way I see it, no band or no song can actually suck. If you truly love music, it means you love every single aspect of music, whether it be rap, rock, metal, pop, noise, country and so on. The people who are criticizing are just sharing their opinion. Like I said before, opinions don't get you ****.

My only argument with you OppoKaze is that Between the Buried and Me, they're more of a weird tech metal band, there newest album especially being way away from metalcore. Other than that I agree with you completely, as much as I love metal as a whole a large portion just isn't feasible. It's either to fast or to hard to sing or to coimplex, making them impossible to play. People need stop asking for the impossible of the developer, make sensible suggetions and they might just listen.

I usually come on these things and spread the almighty gospel of metal, and then tell nay-sayers where they can shove it. And to be fair, this is no different. BUT IF YOU WANNA MOCK US, THE HAVE THE GOD DAMN COMMON COURTISY TO MAKE IT LEGIBLE. Mocking the way a group of people sound DOES NOT make you more intelligent, it's ignorant. I don't feel I should have to stick up for my friends, whether they are fans of the same or similar genre, or the bands you just bashed.

NEWSFLASH! This is a game, one that's not intended for elitist fascist ****wads, but for anyone who appreciates music, whether it's Rock, Pop-punk, Metal, Reggae, or Grunge, etc. People who enjoy metal are making a critique of the selections we have been offered, and the forums seem to be our best and most available outlet, heaven forbid there be a place to speak ones mind openly and exchange ideas. Things like a double kick bass drum are not going to happen, but we all notice this game is a budding new medium to the musical game genre, and we would all like our piece in it. Don't like it? TOO BAD!! Go be a Music Nazi somewhere else.

This is a place for people to post their requests. Who cares what it is? Why do you have to knock people for listening to that kind of genre? It doesnt matter if it can be put in game or not. Who knows maybe HMX might come out with a Double Bass Pedel add-on because a lot of people migh be asking for it.

I dont really care for the genre/music but i am not going to make a whole topic and bash people for liking that music and requesting it. All you are doing is trolling.
