My favorite part is when Eran Egozy takes a subtle shot at Neversoft:

"Obviously we are making video games and that's what we're about, but we are also musicians, and it's the combination of us being musicians and videogame makers that really makes us have that special quality. It's kind of pervasive throughout the entire company. We wouldn't bother trying to make skateboarding games."

And having played through GH3 since it came out, I very much agree.

When it came to the development of the game, everyone left us alone, and it was awesome. I think everyone realized to just let us do what we are good at doing, and you’ll be fine. So we were in the driver’s seat as far as creating the game. EA was there to help, MTV was there to help, and we were doing the thing that we knew how to do best. And the end result kind of shows for it.
Anyone still think EA is going to break stuff?

We wouldn’t bother trying to make skateboarding games.
Oooh, SICK BURN!

Because it’s a marathon, we do give you something really cool at the end of it… But I can’t tell you what it is yet.

Let the guessing begin. I'm going to say some unlockable arena that will rock our socks off.

Oh really? Then what do they call AntiGrav?? Just because you take the wheels off the board doesn't mean the tricks are any different.

Ice burn.

I think they were hoping no one else heard about it.

No, no, no. You've gotta take what they say completely literally. Anyone who played AntiGrav probably recognized that they didn't bother trying at all during development. :p

Comparing AntiGrav to Tony Hawk is probably the most uneducated thing I've read all week.

I wish I could say "Highway Star venue" and not feel stupid but that's a great stretch.

Holy crap, that would be so kickass.

How would the crowd work on that, though? Would you be so amazingly awesome that people would be lined up down a road for miles and miles, just to see a glimpse of you for one second as you passed by?

My guess is it's some cool lookin' instruments (like that sweet bass in the Run to the Hills vid).

You do realize that's just like saying Snowboarding and Skateboarding is the exact same thing right?
