So if by some divine providence Led Zeppelin makes it into DLC, how would you like to see their songs? A compilation of greatest hits or full original albums. I side with albums, I'd just hope they'd do more than one. Personally, I'd vote for "Houses of the Holy." Fantastic mix of different types of rock, including the bass-driven, funky "Crunge" and closing on "the Ocean," with arguably the best riff in Zep's catalog.

If you had to pick an album for Rock Band, which would it be?

Zep has like 81 songs, 80 are hits.

The Ocean would be high on my list...my very, very long list.

I think they have 85 on the dot, but I agree that they have a ton of hits and 85 of their songs are great.

I would have to say Led Zeppelin II, but it wasn't easy for me. I choose this album because of Ramble On's bass line (it's also my fav zep song), Moby Dick's banging asss drums, Living Loving Maid, Heartbreaker, Thank You, Whole Lotta Love, The Lemon Song, What Is And What Should Never Be, and Bring It On Home because they are all well balanced songs, as well as Ramble On and Moby Dick.

i like u.

anywho, great list...Thank You is in my top 5...ish Zep songs...the list changes all the time

But Hats off to (Roy) Harper...is the only Zep song that does not agree with me. :(

For me it's impossible to just choose even 20 Zep songs...I can't limit it down that much...

I mean I want Hotdog!

along with at least 30 others...

What Is And Never Should Be, The Ocean, Traveling Riverside Blues, Royal Orleans (funky ass song) , Misty Moutain Hop, Hots On For Nowhere, Custard Pie, The Crunge, Black Dog, Bring It On Home...

and I still want more!

You guys are all right, definitley. Of course you can't judge Zep based on one album alone. There is no song of their I do not love, although it tok me a while for "hats off" and "the crunge." "II" was an extremely close 2nd to "Houses of the Holy," for me. In fact, there are a lot of really cool things they could do with "II." Since "Moby Dick" is instrumental, it would be a chance for the singer to take a break and watch the drummer go wild. Also the harmonica in "Bring it on Home" could lead to parts where the singer could play the harmonica by whistling/humming the right pitch.
