I have a question about the new ion drum set

i know it might be blaspheme to ask, but do you know if it's going to work with guitar hero world tour too? I mean, they said that you can use any usb drum set, but if you look at the site it says only compatible with rockband 1 & 2. If it works with both, i'm considering getting it.

2 things:

1) The WT drumset will come with a built in MIDI adapter to use ANY set of edrums with it providing you have a midi output device. In the case of the ION, you could buy the DM5 brain add on that they are selling and hook it up that way and it would theoretically work.

2) On the 360, anyways, Activision has stated that different drum peripherals will work with the game. Many think this is due to pressure from Microsoft to make the controllers work cross game which they should even without that happening. Many are speculating that the songs will have the charts condensed down from five pads to four, integrating both cymbals on the WT kit into one pad like the RB kit.

So short answer: yes, they probably will.
