What are some of your favorite duets in rock (and music)? Why do you like them so much? Or, maybe just to widen the thread a little bit, some songs with outstanding backup vocals.

Here are some of mine, from the top of my head:

Styx :: Boat on the River

Pink Floyd :: Comfortably Numb

Within Temptation :: What Have You Done

EDIT: The second verse of the Within Temptation song gives me chills every time I hear it.

joan jett and paul westernberg - lets do it

iggy pop and david bowie made a great combination too

one combination that i would like to see but will never happen for obvious reasons is danzig and sid vicious, back in the classic misfits era, tsk tsk
