So yea...the dreaded cracked pad came to me, and we sent an email to ea (the UK one) and we followed the warrenty page to get a RMA, but when we get to the last USB question, and click no, it just says just send it back to the shops where you brought it from, and the thing is, I brought it off play.com. So, is there any good DIY longterm mods that I could possibly do that are easy. Thanks!

Edit: I've had the game for 2 months now.

You should be able to contact Play.com, hopefully they will be able to help you.

Ok, thanks. I will try this next. Ok, now, if they can't help me, what is the best DIY fix?

Good news guys! We contacted play.com, and a very good trick my mum told me, is when you get through to a real person, not a machine, make a compliment, like, "oh, you sound happy" or "wow, that was quick, I thought you were an answering machine". And they talked, and after a few laughs, he said, ok I understand your problem about the dent in your drums being like a jam jar, we will have someone pick up the instrument bundle on monday, and we will send off another set on tuesday, and hopefully you will recieve all the instruments my friday, saturday, or sunday. Also, my mum is buying me an early birthday present of them special silencers which also prevent it from cracking easily.

Now - Another question - Which are the best ones to buy in the UK (£).

Thanks!

Good to hear things worked out for you!

I'm not sure about drum silencers. Do a search around the forums, there's lots of information about them.

Thanks! We are wondering about buying mousemats and using them because we had a little hit on one, and it is so quiet (foam side up). Can someone point me to a mousemat DIY?
