Hey Everyone,

My name is John Dee, and I'm one of the many artist here at Harmonix. I'm the guy who floods our game up with the 2-D animal art work and crazy worm like animations you see through out the game's shell system.

I'm just coming off the crazy train of Rockband 2 and have more time for non-work related art projects to soak up my free time on the weekends.

I just wanted to give a quick plug to this Threadless T-shirt contest I entered and ask the mecry of our fans to check it out and throw me a little vote for their favorite t-shirt design?

to be voted on and hopefully printed.

If I get enough high scores the shirt will be printed and sold from the

Yeah, I went with the monthly theme they had going (DEMOCRACY)....and tried to make the designs something you would want to wear. It was a nice little art challenge and cool to take on different subject matter.

Wow!....Thanks for the feedback guys. To be honest, I almost didn't submit #3 at all.

I thought it had to much stuff going on, and might be a bit busy with the subject matter.

Hey man, I just wanted to say good job on the art in the game. It works really well and just plain kicks ass. Hope we see some more cool artwork in RB2. Any chance of putting some real rock poster art in the game? I liked that touch in the original GH games.

I'm super stoked you guys like the designs. I will probably show off some other work pretty soon. You will definitely be seeing more cool artwork in RB2. I'm sure you will like how the art and animation in the game shell has evolved from RB1, but hasn't abandoned the original art style. There is a lot cool stuff to look at while getting ready to rock out in the game. Can't wait for our game to come out and hear the feedback.
