Anybody up for a medley?

I really didn't know where to put this. While we all know that Rock Band is done and they're just in the final stages of getting it pushed out the door to retail, I do have a statement...request...I don't know what to call it.

Proceeding...

I was thinking of a thing I love whenever I go to concerts...I love me some medleys. You know, where the band does a mix of like 8 or 9 really popular songs into like a 15 - 20 minute set for the enjoyment of all the fans.

I'm pretty sure the answer to my following question is no but, do they have anything like this in Rock Band? And, if not (hell, no ifs...more like "since it's not") would it be considered in the future (RB2 anyone?) to be able to choose up to 10 songs from the game to mash-up into a cool little medley session?

Personally, I'd have a blast with it. Just some thoughts from your friendly neighborhood Joe.

I'd support this idea. I'd also assume that if you DL a full album you'll be able to play the full album as a single back-to-back setlist.

No...not a setlist. I mean when a band will perform certain sections of each song into a 15 to 20 minute mash of 8 or 9 songs. Not the entire song, just choruses or guitar solos from each one.

Nah, he means a medley. Notice me suggested eight or nine songs in twice as many minutes. So about a minute or two of a given track before going to another. I personally haven't seen it very much at live concerts, but a previous poster indicated that Metallica did on on Live Sh*t: Binge and Purge.

When I think of a medley, I think of "Polka Your Eyes Out" by Weird Al.

Maybe that's the reward for beating Endless Setlist? Pure speculation on my part but it would be sweet and would seem to make sense at the end of Endless Setlist.
