I'm asking this question here because there are actually people who know what they're talking about. The Playstation forums are vast and provide no information. I have a Linksys WRT54G to connect my PS3 to the internet/PSN. Ever since the v1.90 update, I'm intermittently logged off PSN. The two common errors I get are "80710092 - error has occured and you were signed out of the PSN." and "8002AD23 - This is a DNS error." I am naive on how to setup ports for the router and generally useless when it comes to wireless protocol. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 10 more days to RB!!!! Hopefully I can play online when it comes out.....please help.

well if you cant sign in go onto the internet browser and click cick the triangle button i think. then go to tools and click clear cache or something like that and delete the cookies also. then it should work good as new. if you can sign in then just do it anyways.

I have researched this problem for the last week.
The problem is in the Linksys UPnP functionality.

You have two solutions:
Install the DD-WRT firmware for your Router.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DD-WRT
or
Disable your Media Server option on your PS3 XBM.

What you could do is use the same IP information as your pc/laptop.
The only problem is that you won't be able to use the two at the same time because of an IP clash. If you want to try this, on your pc/laptop go to
>Start
>Run: in run box type 'cmd' without inverted commas.
>A black box should appear. In this type ipconfig/all
>A list of information (ip address, dns number, subnet mask etc) will come up. Take note of this info and use when setting up the online stuff for your ps3.

Make sure you put the address settings to manual, not easy, and enter your info when prompted. Use the same DNS number for DNS 1 and DNS 2.

A lot of the time with this, it take a few hours for the ps3 to connect. If it doesn't work straight away, turn your ps3 off, and come back in a few hours.

EDIT: Krolak seems to be knowledgeable on the subject, therefore try his idea before mine.
