Ok, I've posted this error before about my other Stratacastor guitar, but now it has happened to my other one. What happens is that it constantly registers the PS button being hit, sending me to the XMB or the classic "Quit Game/Turn Off System" menu 2-3 times every second. This has rendered two guitars unplayable now. My friends and I are now unable to play the guitar/bass portion of this game without using an old GH2 SG, and making a full band is impossible, forcing someone to sit out. Is there anything anyone can help me with this? Has this ever happened to anyone else? I need help on this as soon as possible, this is ridiculous. I've tried changing the batteries multiple times, switching dongles, everything it seems like. I am at my wits end here!
Please, whoever can help or give input in ANY way whatsoever, I'd be eternally grateful.

Try RMA'ing it.

I'd personally rather try and find a fix that is more instantaneous than RMA'ing. Don't get me wrong, I will RMA these guitars if it no solutions come through. The thing that's really irking me is that this happened to two guitars (one from an RMA in early spring, the other bought as a standalone guitar at the end of April). If it happened once, I would just write that off as a hardware malfunction, but it has happened twice. Could a wire or sensor could have been dislodged in a car ride? I have no inhibitions about cracking open one of the guitars, since I'll probably be buying the RB2 bundle in October (Auto-Cal FTW!).

I've never seen this happen across 7 PS3 stratocasters. If you're going 2/2 on it then I suppose it could be something you're doing, or it could just be a massive coincidence.

That's what I'm thinking- something may have gotten jostled out of place during a car ride (no one else has as much RB DLC as I do :p). Do you know of a guide to taking apart/the components of a Stratacastor like http://www.takeitapart.net/archives/guitar_hero_controller/ (which you graced me with in another thread, thanks again :))?
If this is a HUGE coincidence I'm going to going to pronounce a gypsy has cursed me.
edit: Also, the car-jostling theory may be it, because I forgot to mention that the guitar was working fine Thursday (passed all my sight-reads of the DLC, too, heh). I'll also try my 3 different dongles (one spare from RMA'ing) to see if that'll affect this Strat.
edit2: Ok, now I am really confused. Now both guitars are suddenly NOT doing the error I stated. I'll still keep this topic open, though, because when only one was doing this I thought it went away for a bit, when in actuality it kept on doing later on. I guess I'll see in coming days...
